One of the most haunting things about this film is how they portrayed Bear as this innocent awkward guy who just wants to be loved by his crush, when in reality he’s actually pretty selfish. I hate that the introduction was so short because they jumped straight into the wish/ …

The most haunting scene of Obsession.

So he wished for a girl to like him back. Is that so bad? How was he supposed to know it was actually a magic wish bone

rewatched obsession and when bear goes to get a “sunshine in a rock” citrine necklace he concludes nikki wouldn’t like it, then he gets the one wish willow and says HE likes that better. that’s his whole thing, guessing nikki’s preferences and concluding they should match his.

Can we talk about how Sarah is the real tragedy of #Obsession, while everyone else is completely ignoring her? She genuinely liked Bear for who he was, way before any supernatural curses got involved. But instead of paying attention to a girl who actually valued him, Bear ignored her to chase a brainwashed fantasy of Nikki. And Sarah's reward for being a good coworker? Getting her face brutally smashed in with a brick by a possessed Nikki. Sarah was total collateral damage for Bear’s toxic entitlement. If you are more worried about Bear or Nikki than the absolute horror of what happened to Sarah, your priorities are totally backwards #Obsession #bear #sarah #nikki
