The Province has introduced legislation to unilaterally take City land at Bathurst and Queen's Quay. That includes paving over Little Norway Park - probably for a parking lot. Council is meeting today, I am bringing an urgent motion to oppose it and fight back. Unilaterally taking City land is not acceptable. Who knows what they will take next.

It’s crazy to me that in 30+ years the NFB has never done anything with them or particularly acknowledges their existence. The term “generational bag fumble” gets thrown around a lot, but the bag has been fumbled for a literal generation now.
