@noahdarling_ I get the rationale behind the move, but there is a lot to be said for playing while students are still on campus. The energy is different when no one is around.

It’s “only” a 2-3 week difference, but have to feel summer leagues, Team USA and potentially Major League Baseball won’t love the concept of college baseball being played into July. It would be a jolt of energy for Midwest and northern programs, but it’s cold in March too. This would require the transfer portal to open at a later date, probably, which should happen anyway.
