@deeprossed I can't argue there. The insane thing was - when we played Leeds in January, the tactics went out the window and we played for the love of the game. I was hugging random strangers in the crowd - it was that exciting. And we've played some good European football.

@peteohanlon the whole club needs a reshuffle and unfortunately that includes the manager, its gone completely stale, everyone i know dreads going to the match now rather than looking forward to it cause you know whats going to happen cos every game follows the same script

@donhutch4 TBH, there needs to be an honest conversation inside Newcastle about the whole set-up; from the person right at the top, all the way down. They need to review why they have reached this position. We can point to a bad transfer window, but why was it allowed to reach that point?

@deeprossed I won't disagree on that - there's certainly plenty needs improving there. I do think that he's overly predictable, you can predict the starting line-up, substitutions, tactics, days before the match.

@peteohanlon the players he bought arent bad, but they also dont fit his rigid system, and he has refused to adapt, which is ultimately his downfall and the reason he needs to go, its history repeating itself, it happened at Bournemouth too

@deeprossed I run teams in business - when people fail, unless they have deliberately acted maliciously, they fail because the organisation let them fail. The right structures and processes weren't in place to prevent the failure from happening. Ultimately, NUFC are a business.

@deeprossed He doesn't control the purse strings. When teams fail, they fail because they were allowed to - processes and capabilities are not in place to prevent them from happening. This is why they need to have an honest review.

@donhutch4 We are grateful for what he's achieved, but the fact is he's not going to take the club any further. And if the owners want to be number one, he isn't the manager to do it. He's limited by his ability. If he was as good as you think he is, the top clubs would be in for him.
