Got some small stickers made up for my bike/helmet. 7cm square/diameter. Will list on eBay if people are interested. I’ve stuck an arrow on my skate helmet, mtb helmet has too many vents. Sort of fits on a wide mudguard too. Dm if you’re interested in buying one.

Car-brain doesn't understand the quickest, least harmful and the most efficient form of personal transport... Who'd of thunk it? Also, cyclists inflicting hardship upon others, like death, destruction, and maiming! 👍

I’m giving everyone a box of Gaviscon this year. Yes my 2 year old child is getting a box too as it took me til 33 to realise why my digestion felt so rubbish around this time of year.

@wise_littlelegs @OneAdultSwim1 That does have some truth and it’s very dependent on that locality. But then again they’ll cut verges elsewhere during that time. There are some sections that haven’t been cut for literally years, despite multiple reports.

Would it kill Stockport Council to just do a proper protected cycle lane and filter some side roads. Instead they’re stealing more pedestrian space and increasing car capacity, and continuing the status quo under the guise of “making it better for buses”.

The best part of Bakewell is the industrial estate with Thornbridge Brewery and a bakery that does coffee because the historic centre of Bakewell is a polluted and noisy car sewer.

@AdsCondron Real comparison is a second hand car Vs second hand cargo bike. We have mass motoring which means second hand market is cheap. As cargo bike adoption increases, second hand prices will get cheaper, just like second hand bicycles.

@9SquirrelsBrew INDYMAN allow children in to day sessions, and you can get into most places (within reason!) if you have a baby strapped to your front. I can see why people would assume it’s ok to bring a baby in as I took my son to the pub when he was 10 days old, so probably would have tried.

I took a photo of this sign because it amused me. I saw other people taking photos too. Nope. It turns out you do actually need to tell people this. "No under 18s" also applies to babies, because babies are, famously, under 18.
