Wow!! The Q at Myrtle Beach 😍
What an experience again with some incredible creators for the 3rd year in a row! Thanks for getting me out @PlayGolfMB
Who do you think will win tonight?? 👀

@Jameshay1231 @timelybogey @Titleist @TitleistEurope You might be prone to bouts of sensationalism Glen 😅

Seeing lots of posts about this. Content creators filming pro events is fair game as long as they are responsible, respectful of other players and follow rules set out by organisers. We’ve never had any issues and they are some of our most popular videos 👍

Golf "creators" are ruining competitive golf. It's one thing to film yourself shooting 82, it's another to invite your cameraman ONTO the green, DURING PLAY. It’s intrusive, disrespectful, and a distraction your playing partners didn’t agree to. Embarrassing behavior.
English

@timelybogey Yeah it’s an interesting one, if I’m filming an event I always let playing partners know none of their shots are shown or filmed so don’t worry about the cams
English

@PeterFinchGolf I don't believe it's a massive issue by any means, but it could throw someone off if they show up and there are cameras on the first tee. Granted, if they can't handle a camera or 2 following a playing partner, they're not making it through anyway.

@PeterFinchGolf Too many "content creators". You included. I take my viewing elsewhere.

Nah, it would require whichever network has coverage of the US Open to say they want to film and pay for the rights to all the regional (and maybe final) qualifiers, which they wouldn’t do. I honestly feel as long as it’s done properly it can work really well for the organisers and club is hosted at. That’s the experience we’ve had anyway but obviously every situation is different

@FedExCuck I’ve never qualified not filming either 😅 it’s coincides with my often crap golf
English

@PeterFinchGolf Big fan of your channel Pete but you've never qualified for the Open when filming it. Coincidence? 🤔
English

@stevemooregolf There are officials at bigger events but yes it’s down to the players at smaller events. The ultimate responsibility lies with the player if they are filming themselves, if they step out of line they should be called on it
English

@PeterFinchGolf Who’s there to monitor the responsible and respectful nature of their filming ? Is the onus on the other players in the group then to call them out when it’s not ?
English

@rupertpupkin001 All I can say is I spoke to the USGA and organisers of my regional events and they were happy with everything
English

@PeterFinchGolf Got it, so you think the USGA makes rules different for a qualifying round of tournament…..this isn’t a playground like YouTubers are treating it.
English

@PeterFinchGolf You would say that though Pete. Personally it should be banned in competitions, whatever you do outside of that is your choice.
English

@golfrightwolf My point is people want to watch those competitive rounds and as long as it’s done respectfully I don’t feel it’s too much of an issue 🤷🏻♂️
