@casualclubguy Noise cancelling earbuds my friend. Ranges are a tough spot but I error on the side of not expecting a whole lot of quiet. Too many of this exact scenario to expect anything different at this point

Fernando Tatis Jr. has lost his lawsuit against Big League Advance. Tatis was paid $2 million as a minor leaguer in exchange for 10% of his future earnings. This was not a loan. If Tatis didn't make it to the big leagues, he didn't have to repay the $2 million. But Tatis did make it to the big leagues and later signed a 14-year, $340 million contract. That meant Tatis owed Big League Advance $34 million. Tatis had publicly praised Big League Advance, saying the $2 million allowed him to hire a personal trainer, upgrade his apartment, and eat better food. But after realizing he owed $34 million in exchange for $2 million, Tatis sued the company, alleging that they used predatory tactics to lure him into an investment deal that was really an illegal loan. The judge disagreed. The agreement was upheld this week and Tatis was even ordered to pay Big League Advance’s legal fees. This is a big deal because Big League Advance has signed deals with 700+ athletes, including Elly De La Cruz (MLB) and Nolan Smith (NFL), across MLB, NFL, and college sports (think: NIL). And now that the courts have ordered Fernando Tatis Jr. to follow through on the agreement, other potential legal challenges will likely go the same way.

@bantamgolf Hard to do it because everyone is different - physical traits, flexibility, physical capabilities. Literally nothing applies to the masses. What the ball needs at impact is universal, but getting there is unique to each player

@sean_incredible It’s the NFL. Margin for error is zero. Lose and you’re done. Every other sport you can lose at least 2 before you’re done

- No brainer 1 - MLB 2 - NFL 3 - NHL 4 - NBA The other three have way too many variables compared to the NBA. You get two elite players on the same team in the NBA, you’ll win at least once. You get an elite big 3 and it’s damn near guaranteed barring injury. Baseball you can have a juggernaut offense and still lose. You can have an insane pitching staff and still lose. Ken Griffey Jr. was apart of some of the greatest offenses ever, he never won. Never even made a World Series. Plus it’s the longest season. NFL is second because an offense can’t control what the defense does and vice versa. Their best argument is you don’t get to play a series to win — you have to win one game each week to advance and any given Sunday you can lose. NHL 3rd.

Brooks Koepka, the gold standard of loyalty and grace. Asked about his former LIV Golf mates checking in, says, “Changed my number.. which is a good thing.” Then throws shade at the league that paid him $100M+ for skimping on player perks (or “access to stuff”). Class act. Pure elegance. 🙄💰 #LIVGolf #PGATour

2 years ago the WNBA had its first bona fide box office star in Caitlin Clark. Her team, the Indiana Fever, had to move its games into massive venues, and charge hundreds of dollars for tickets in response to demand to see her play. Even today, out of jersey sales for ALL basketball players, hers are second only to NBA star Steph Curry...meaning she sells even more jerseys than guys like Lebron James. But with the hype came extra scrutiny on a league that was clearly unprepared for the big time, and more interested in identity politics than in growth. Before, the story was about a generational talent. Now it's becoming about a generational fumble. I've never seen anything like it.

@MetsYeet @FlankenBerry Made your point man, doesn't change the result. Pacers ran them into the ground, don't know what to tell you. What's funny is pretending like the Pacers are the inferior team when they consistently have the Knicks number.

@timelybogey @FlankenBerry also, it's not excuses it's an explanation. You don't think having every starter either out or playing with broken bones and torn abdomen is a good explanation as to why a better team could still lose in 7 games to a healthy inferior team

@timelybogey @FlankenBerry well, they won the first game on the luckiest bounce in the history of basketball. If not for that, it's 3-3 and then either team could have won. What are you having trouble with. They won based on the luckiest bounce anyone has ever seen. Have you ever seen it bounce that high

@MetsYeet @FlankenBerry Got it. So Pacers win in '24 because - excuses Pacers win in '25 because - luck, even though they did it in 6 We discrediting Boston in '24 and OKC in '25 since both of them didn't have to play against a healthy Haliburton? Or do the excuses only apply to Pacers opponents?

@dandakich @IndianaFever Typical Dakich post She hasn't caused any drama. She's gone at coaches who are trying to change her game entirely and not in an effective way. Contrast that with Carlisle giving Haliburton the keys day 1 Seats are empty when she's not playing and they're way overpriced

Empty seats at @IndianaFever games? Simple.. At some point the drama get exhausting At some point “the star” must produce championships At some point “the star” pimping every product on every commercial fuels resentment At some point people get tired of bad hoops We may be at that point

@timelybogey @FlankenBerry If the Knicks won that game it would have been 3-3 and game 7 would have been at MSG. Not smart enough to follow a simple point involving elementary school math. I'm seasoning a brisket for a cookout this weekend, I hope it's as juicy and tender as Haliburton's Achilles

@MIK3MCDANIEL How can they be overrated when no one has any clue how Ty is going to look, how they're going to incorporate Zu, or what moves they make this summer? All anyone has said is the Pacers team of the last couple years would have run through the East this year and they're right
