Hi some personal news. Because I am still having preventative chemotherapy I have been granted ill health retirement. I will be leaving my role at the end of the month. So I’m looking forward to some time to myself and thanks to everyone for their support

Following on from my earlier post thanks to the wonderful staff in the NHS who have been magnificent and I shall be voting this year to try to stop the Tories destroying our NHS

I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. A year ago I was walking with a stick and had cancer in my leg bone. Now I take the dogs out for an hours walk and am just having a small amount of chemotherapy to keep the cancer at bay.
