Harvey Barnes wins an England call-up after all. He will replace Eberechi Eze for games against Uruguay and Japan at Wembley. #nufc

Howe has ruined this ‘project’ from moment Isak said he wanted to go. He fucked the summer up completely. His loyalty to Burn, Murphy, Gordon, Trippier and Pope has disillusioned the rest of the squad who now want out. We are literally back to square one. Well done Eddie #NUFC

The amount of happy clappers "Proud" of eddie and that 2nd half performance tells me as a club we will never be elite or respected, Sitting middle of the table, a derby defeat, 250m spent in the summer, 2 of those player's costing 130m sitting on the bench.

Elanga strikes me as the sort of player who skins the local lads down the park, and convinces himself that makes him a professional footballer. Bloke seems to have nothing about him.

Clubs got so much to do in summer. - New manager / Coaching staff - 6 + players to bring in - 6 + Players to sell - Final decision on TG / Stadium Huge summer ahead. Disgusting season this season. Would have been diabolical if not for CL campaign #NUFC #HoweOut

Good luck to @NUFC today at home - Mum, Will, Joe & my nephew, Arthur are there to cheer you on as guests of the club on a very important date in our calendar. I can’t believe it’s 5 years. I miss him every day. He loved Newcastle & the club.

@robprogressive You talk a load of 💩 Prices have indeed dropped, but 50-60% year on year”…. Give your head a wobble. When people like you join the “so many” and leave, UK will be a better place

London property prices are crashing and the numbers are shocking  In prime central London, the falls are brutal & ugly. See below… Just 15 years ago London was booming & everyone from all over the world was fighting to get property in the capital Now all the millionaires & billionaires are leaving, the prices are crashing, & the supporting local businesses are closing down >Mayfair sold prices are down 50 to 60 per cent year on year
>Kensington & Chelsea is down 40 to 50 per cent
>Belgravia & Westminster seeing a 10%+ a YEAR drop in value London used to be the best property market in the world, now it’s starting the national collapse as it will ripple out Yes, this is brutal, but it also means that central prime London is now cheap enough to buy. Will you invest or will you leave London/the U.K. like so many?

The fact we haven’t seen Shahar or Neave come on with this scoreline just confirms that they’re never coming on whilst on the bench no matter what the scoreline is

PENALTY GATE I shouldn’t even need to post about this given the great win we just got but it’s impossible to ignore given the reports that came out earlier about Woltemade considering his future, seeing these images it’s very obvious he’s not 100% happy. And who can blame him? He’s the Germany number 9 and Eddie Howe is playing him in midfield after dropping him as a striker earlier this season. And let’s be absolutely clear he’s playing as a centre midfielder NOT as a 10 despite many wrong opinions on this. That alone is disheartening and damaging to his career given his role for Germany. It’s quite baffling how the Newcastle fan base are just overlooking this as if it’s normal to sign a number 9 and play him as a centre midfielder. Imagine Sesko or Ektike doing this? It’s mental. We signed him for a record fee & Howe was absolutely clear he was the main striker. Anthony Gordon was stat padding against these farmers with ease, people will say that’s grounds for him to continue up front despite the piss poor opposition and track record over the last year but obviously this was a very weak opponent. 1 goal in open play in 13 MONTHS against premier league opposition, 4 goals in 45 minutes against a pub team - great night but it doesn’t disprove the last 13 months. Gordon bagged a hat-trick and refused to give the 2nd penalty to Woltemade, after both Woltemade & Trippier asked him to do so. We were out of sight & Gordon came across as someone who couldn’t give 2 shits about anyone but himself despite Woltemade playing a role that sacrificed for the team. Not the first time Gordon looked like he didn’t want to help Woltemade this season. The issues between the two are now clear as day. Woltemade looked absolutely GUTTED after the second penalty as seen in the image. He knows as a “striker” he’s judged on goals despite Eddie playing him in midfield. This was a perfect opportunity to give him a role up front and get more chances and Eddie still stuck him in midfield. A vote of no confidence… Nobody could blame Woltemade for leaving this summer as his career is going backwards under Eddie Howe and that’s a FACT. #NUFC

Two clubs below us have now a new manager bounce. We have our club captain Bruno out for 5-6 weeks. As I said spurs away win was papering over the cracks, Bruno thrown in playing 90 minutes was a gamble that has failed for 3 points sake. Shambles… #NUFC

@NUFCMurph This is why the top clubs tend to rest their star players for cup games. Winning the Caribou cup is worth approx £180k. One place higher in the league is worth approx £2m. Hardly rocket science. This could cost the club 4-5 places in the league this season.
