@jaynitx To be honest, I think both are kinda third rate on the software side. I'll give huge credit to apple's hardware tho. Built very well.

Steve Jobs explains exactly why he thinks Microsoft makes "third rate products" "The only problem with Microsoft is they just have no taste. They have absolutely no taste" "I don't mean that in a small way, I mean that in a big way. They don't think of original ideas and they don't bring much culture into their products" "Proportionally spaced fonts come from typesetting and beautiful books. That's where one gets the idea. If it weren't for the Mac, they would never have that in their products" "I'm saddened not by Microsoft's success. I have no problem with their success, they've earned it for the most part" "I have a problem with the fact that they just make really third rate products"

@AshNicoleMoss @bradbotkincbs @CBSSports I think you might lose the room if you're praising 'manipulation' as an 'art' - sorta proves the point that its "fair" to call it excessive "flopping"

is calling SGA "a flopper" fair? i say no. "are you exaggerating a legitimate foul or are you exaggerating a phantom call? there's a difference and one is simply the art of manipulation ... and that's basketball." a spicy debate between myself & @bradbotkincbs on @CBSSports.

@MathieuBlue Agreed - the absolute ideal is probably 75 w/ a few fluffy clouds. But I still will take 65ish and overcast a million times over 90+ and humid.

Memorial Day Weekend DELUGE for NYC Metro ☔ Models are coming into solid agreement for a holiday weekend washout (GFS trended toward Euro), with the heaviest rain likely falling later Saturday thru much of Sunday. It won't rain every second, but don't expect any beach weather.

@davidsirota @StephenAtHome This post probably could've ended after the first sentence. He WAS great...then his comedy started sounding more condescending than funny. Unfortunate really.

People might not remember it, but @StephenAtHome first emerged doing a terrific show that was the one place on national TV that allowed non-corporate viewpoints. I had the chance to twice be on that show to talk about corruption & the economic chaos that was coming. With Colbert being kicked off the air tonight, I went back and watched those clips. I feel both sad for how much of a broken record I've ended up sounding like over the last 20 years, and also in awe of what a talent Colbert is. Watch this clip to see him berate me as Che Guevara, then watch him ask whether in the future he will still get to keep his TV show. It's eerily prescient.

Last thing I’ll say about game 1 before I move on. When ATL and Philly were down big, the majority of their fans had a mass exodus. The Knicks were down 22 with a 0.1% chance to win, and look at the Garden full of Knicks fans on their feet as we completed the comeback! Our city is different, our fans are different, and I’m so proud to be one of them! #AlwaysKnicks

@nytimes @TheAthletic That made it personal. Don't care what he says, he did it and NYers are not unseeing it.

From @TheAthletic: Tyrese Haliburton didn’t become the Knicks’ villain by accident. On the anniversary of his iconic MSG moment, Haliburton explained how his lifelong love of WWE shaped his on-court persona — and why he welcomes the boos on the road. nyti.ms/4dq0PhI

@BernieSanders This style of political ad can be funny at times. Like he's walking towards you kinda ominously and you're backing up like "...uhhhh, space please?"

"I was there on time, but the rule is, if you're one second late, you're late. So if you think about it, I was there on time, if you know what I mean." Garrick Higgo spoke to the media about his two-stroke penalty for arriving late to his tee time.

@WSJ I have a hunch that these "problematic teen take-overs" being chaperoned by their adult (?) parents will probably devolve into the same kind of behavior.
