The rise of anti Jewish hatred in society needs tackling urgently and workplaces are no exception. Yesterday, with business representatives and leaders from Jewish organisations, we discussed practical actions to make sure Jewish people both are and feel safe at work, from mobilising the voice of industry to better training. This is the start of a joint programme of work because for too long tackling this has been put in the 'too hard' box.

This Labour government has the right economic plan. The choices we have made mean our economy is in a stronger position, as we deal with the costs of conflict abroad.

Today’s strong growth figures show the Government has the right economic plan. The choices I have made as Chancellor mean our economy is in a stronger position as we deal with the costs of the war in Iran. Now is not the time to put our economic stability at risk.

It was a pleasure to join friends at @savechildrenuk to mark the scrapping of the two-child limit. Thanks to their campaigning we will transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of children. This is the difference a Labour government can make.

Enjoyed Kemi’s quip about free breakfast clubs being a defining legacy of this Labour government. When the Tories deride breakfast clubs, it shows how out of touch they still are. A £450 saving is a lot for working families. Easing the morning rush makes a big difference.

Our Labour government has started rolling out free breakfast clubs to every primary school in England. Here is Michela's story 👇

Rebuilding our relationship with Europe matters. I headed to Brussels today to meet with @steph_sejourne as we deepen UK-EU cooperation on our industrial strategy. A closer relationship with Europe benefits Britain - it creates jobs, strengthens trade and increases our security.

Today @peterkyle visited @wayve_ai HQ as we signed a new partnership with the UK government 🤝 After a decade building this technology, it’s great to formalise our collaboration with Government and build a national champion for self-driving across the UK. 🇬🇧

We’re making Britain the best place to start, scale and grow a business.   Innovative scale-ups like @wayve_ai, are creating jobs and driving investment here in the UK.   Congratulations @alexgkendall and the team.

Strong domestic steel production is vital for our economy. That’s why we’re introducing a Bill giving government powers that could be used to nationalise British Steel.
