@krassenstein Our allies are doing the right thing by refusing us. Trump did not ask for permission from Congress he did not articulate his objective to the American people when it comes to getting us into this war. He did this unilaterally, so why is he begging for help now?

No European commercial ship has been targeted in the Strait of Hormuz, and that is what the EU is trying to maintain.
So why get involved in a war that has no benefit to the West at all?
The only drawback will be the future relationship between the EU and the USA, as Republicans may retaliate by withdrawing from NATO and stopping funding for the Ukrainian war, which they started.
