Chatting to my neighbour today. I was gobsmacked when he said they’d been paying £270pcm for their gas and electricity bills. For 8 months of the year we’re completely protected from spiralling petrol/diesel/gas/electric costs by producing our own energy and storing it in a battery. For the other 4 months of the year the battery allows us to power shift, utilising very cheap off-peak energy. Based on the average mpg of a diesel (43mpg) and the current £1.60 per litre, this equates to cost of 16p per mile. This means that each kWh we produce (EV average of 4 miles per kWh) is worth around 64p when we put it directly in to our EV as we are doing today and will continue to do throughout the year. If you can, do it. It will save you.

This is insufferable. Why did the Nicene creed need to be written if the church already had the Apostles Creed? Which Nicene Creed? 325 or 381? Why? What about the Council of Ephesus? What about the Athanasian Creed? The Chalcedonian Creed? When new heresies are invented, new lines that clarify orthodoxy must be drawn in response.

Do a little research and learn about LNG "trains" and why there are just 14 such trains in existence, upon which the entirety of western civilization stands. And all 14 trains are within reach of Iran's missiles, and at least one or two of those trains was set on fire today by Iran's missiles. A few minutes ago the entire opposition @Kent_cc walked out of the Chamber in protest @reformparty_uk gagging of democracy. Against advice and guidance of the Electoral Commission, independent Constitutional Barristers and the Council's own Monitoring Officer, ReformUK insisted on tabling their motion declaring a Migration Emergency, even though the council is with the 'Purdah" period when they are legally prohibited from debating issues which might influence the outcome of local elections presently taking place. The only way they could do this was by the Chairman informing elected members that they were barred from criticising Reform, make political points or criticise the policy. The opposition parties met at lunchtime and agreed that the rules of debate set by the Reform-appointed Chairman made it impossible to oppose (which is our job). This is a sad day for democracy, a sad day for good governance and a sad day for Kent and an example of what ReformUK will be like in government.
