@Tobby_scraper I think it mainly depends on a product. If a customer actively uses it from 1st day, then 7d would be enough for a converting trial

Free trials are broken for most indie apps. 7 days is too short to form a habit. 14 days is the minimum. 30 days is better. But the length doesn't matter if your onboarding is bad. The trial should end right after the user's biggest win. Not after 7 days. After the moment they think "I need this." Time your paywall around value.

@1Umairshaikh Users should know in 5 seconds exactly what they'll get - a specific result in a specific time. They pay for outcomes, not features.

Blurry positioning is a tax on every dollar you spend on ads. Every click costs more. Every conversion is rarer. The fix takes one evening. Scribbby changed one headline and a price. People started paying.

Call it Definition of Done. Users should know in 5 seconds exactly what they'll get. Not "improve," not "optimize" - a specific result in a specific time. When that's clear, they calculate the ROI themselves. And they pay for outcomes, not features.

Guys, I solved churn. It’s so easy. Just have no users. 0 users = 0 churn rate. Thank me later.

You have two options: 1. Work on one business for many years, OR 2. Work on various small bets and diversify. Which one do you think is better?
