So, i attended this dude's (@0xdeferl) webinar sometime yesterday, and he had the guts to point out to me what I have been doing wrong. 😒 Am I angry, naaah! I was glad I attended, and here are some key points I grabbed in all his rants. "I have 4 years experience" no longer cut it if their isn't no evidence to show you actually learnt and grew within those years. Create a professional LinkedIn account, list and document projects you have worked with, highlighting what you helped them achieve and how you improved. As a CM, you need to envision campaigns that brings around sticky users and not just those in for the incentives, but actually eager to use the product (converting metrics to active users). So next time you say you have over 4 years of experience in either any field, know that there are over 101 other applicants spewing same lines in their DM. You just have to stand out to make it. Some moments in history may look small when they happen, but years later, everyone realizes they changed everything. That’s exactly what happened on May 22, 2010, a normal pizza order that would later become one of the biggest stories in crypto history. Today, the crypto world celebrates it as Bitcoin Pizza Day, a day that reminds us where it all started. Back then, Bitcoin was still very new. There were no big exchanges, no companies buying Bitcoin, and no headlines talking about it. Most people didn’t even believe internet money could have any real value. To many, Bitcoin was just computer code with no real use in everyday life. But one early Bitcoin believer, Laszlo Hanyecz, saw things differently. He believed that if Bitcoin was ever going to become real money, people had to actually use it to buy real things. So on May 18, 2010, he made a post online offering 10,000 BTC to anyone who could get him two large pizzas. At that time, those coins were worth only around forty dollars, so it didn’t sound like a huge deal. A few days later, another early Bitcoin user, Jeremy Sturdivant, accepted the offer. He ordered two pizzas from Papa John's and had them delivered to Laszlo’s home. In return, Laszlo sent him the 10,000 Bitcoin, making history with what is now known as the first real-world Bitcoin purchase. What looked like just two pizzas became proof that Bitcoin could do something powerful, it could buy something real. Bitcoin was no longer just numbers on a screen; it had real-world value. That simple pizza order helped people start seeing Bitcoin as something much bigger than just an experiment.
