No. Indigenous is not defined that way. Indigenous means originating in a place. They did not “originate” in Australia. Much like the British and others, they moved there. Calling them indigenous is virtue signaling that they should have precedence… which of course they should not. It is a liberal methodology to make others feel bad. Yawn.
