ES shorts -1048.90 DOL 7/10: not the best draw, targeting a 4h bullish gap Entry 5/10: first entry decent should’ve been BE, second was terrible. FOMO and chasing losses Emotions 0/10: lost control after the first loss, sized up and lost the second trade. Disappointing

NQ shorts -$1,022 DOL 5/10: HTF gaps everywhere overnight bullish move unclear direction. Should’ve been cautious. Entry 4/10: First entry was bad. Second was decent, but market was ranging. Emotions 2/10: Fresh week, only $400 from passing. Chased it and turned it into a -$1k

@ItsTraderLuke I disagree with this one I think as a trader it is the best thing to invest your capital in other markets such as real estate, you can always have capital in trading literally from prop firms to building a live account with a couple hundred dollars

If you’re a trader, don’t buy a house. It locks your capital. You need liquidity. Not liabilities.

Another winning day secured ✅ When we failed to sweep the Data High in premarket, and then failed to take it out again after the market opened, I knew the Data High was no longer relevant and likely wasn't the true DOL. We then made a Judas swing off the open, tapped into a 5M FVG, rejected it, and formed a clean 2M V-Shape. The setup had an obvious breakeven point and a clear HTF DOL below acting as the target. I trailed my stop to lock in a winning day and ended up getting stopped out, but that's fine. The goal is to stack winning days, not maximize PnL on every trade. V-Shape Continuation 5M Rejection 2M V-Shape Obvious Bias Clear Targets

I don't know who needs to hear this... But it's ok if you go a day without taking a trade It's not going to kill you And if you find yourself UNABLE to not pull the trigger on a day You have a problem...tighten up Quality doesn't setup left and right

Trading is easy. This is the truth. Its just so obvious to me every single day where the market will go. I passed some evals with this play (not funded because i already secure payouts)

@matt_gray_ Haven’t really got into business yet but I already know the biggest thing about business is delegation. You need to have good like minded employees you can rely on to continue growth and have that freedom.

@LEGACE_FX I completely agree mistakes are costly but they are also essential you must make mistakes as a trader to progress and that isn’t just about trading it’s about life the worst mistakes end up teaching you the best lessons

In trading, mistakes are costly. One single mistake I made back in 2023 made me lose everything. Took me an entire year before I recovered

ES shorts +$796.20 DOL 9/10: 4H bearish structure, nice retracement and move lower. Hourly was rangy but still bearish. Entry 9/10: Broke out of a small 1-minute range and the V-shape flip entry was peak. Emotions 9/10: Stayed calm waited for the V-shape flip and HTF alignment

NQ Shorts -$467.98 DOL 8/10: 1H bearish structure, but 4H bullish FVG. Entry 5/10: BE on trade one, should’ve warned me my short bias was wrong. Emotions 5/10: Stayed married to shorts, ignored stronger longs after the open, and failed to adapt to price action

Don’t usually post BEs, but this one should’ve been a TP. NQ tapped 3 1H bullish FVGs and gave a clean bullish reaction. The volatility going into the session should’ve told me not to move to BE so quickly. Good read, poor management. On to the next!

Most important day of the week for traders gotta be Fridays, they can make or break your whole week. Personally I risk less on Fridays cause there’s no reason to give back profits and ruin your mood for the weekend. Keep it chill, enjoy the weekend and come back next week ready.

@wannabechamp Definitely following it, your trading system/ strategy has data collected, maybe a mentor trades the same strat so you see it work yourself, you can see the data and others performing well doing the same thing, so it comes down you and how you follow your system.

@Swift__Trades A lot of people stop trading for these exact reasons they’re afraid of themselves and seeing their negative qualities, and once these qualities are shown (greed, no discipline, etc.) they stop trading.
