@TheBusbyAbes @scoutsattending Not really. You're there needlessly crying over Lausanne. If Janneh is good enough for United, Ineos will simply switch him across. No problem.

@UtdMicah Daft. Bringing him in as interim was a good decision, and keeping him makes sense. I'd rather wait and see if/when Carrick leaves if they've improved their ability to appoint managers from the outside before judging. If they appoint another Amorim level dud then it'd be an issue.

If this goes wrong, Jason Wilcox & Omar Berrada should be sacked. This is their decision that they’ve had 4+ months to make, if they believe Carrick’s the man, cool. If it doesn’t work out though, they HAVE to be held accountable as well & pay for it with their jobs.
Sully@SullyTalkz

The expectation is for #MUFC to offer Michael Carrick the permanent head coach role for next season. No concrete talks or official decision has been made yet but it's looking increasingly likely that the club want to continue with the 44-year-old following impressive past months.

@TheBusbyAbes @scoutsattending "Taking one of their best forwards for cheap." Clearly you don't understand what them also being "in the Ineos umbrella" means... It's like claiming moving 1 dollar from your own left pocket to your own right pocket is somehow "punishing" your own left pocket.

@phalmer @scoutsattending I know they're in the Ineos umbrella. It is punishing them. Taking one of their best forwards for cheap. Some players are good enough. Like S.Kone but some clubs have terrible managers. Same way ETH sold Alvaro. Same way Amorim tried to ship Mainoo for ugarte.

West Ham United have a player I’d absolutely love Manchester United to sign. Most people may not know much about him yet, but he is an absolute engine on both sides of the pitch. He defends relentlessly, gets forward with purpose, and has the athleticism to cause serious problems. Remember the name: El Hadji Malick Diouf.

@RedArmyPaul99 @UtdMaI How do you still not know that Afcon has moved to the summer again, as well as now being every 4 years?!.... I agree Hall is better than Diouf regardless though.

@TheBusbyAbes @scoutsattending Taking Janneh is not "punishing" Lausanne - they might as well be the same club under the Ineos umbrella. I could see him being moved over. It's also not really Lausanne's fault if the players loaned there aren't good enough yet.

@scoutsattending We need to never loan to Lausanne Sport again. Actually, ban them from any loan list. And also sign Omar Janneh because they took the piss.

@khanmufc_ This is the problem with "highlights" vids - doesn't show all the times in the first half he got easily dispossessed.

@zigirl51 @Tezskii He is also not a good passer really though. Even though Baleba has limited passing range, the one advantage he does have on the ball is he is very press resistant and will at least manage to retain possession under pressure. Sangare buckles when closed down quickly.

@Tezskii Better passer too. Little angle bias. A superior player to Baleba.

@Tezskii His ball retention under pressure is not good. I think he would get dispossessed or give the ball away a lot at United.

Not many people listening [to talkSPORT Breakfast] probably know him, but go and check this kid out. “He's a Dutch kid, midfielder. He wouldn't be one I'd buy to go in and start immediately because he's too young and inexperienced. “But definitely I wouldn't want to miss out on him because I think you need to get two or three in that area.” #MUFC [@talkSPORT]

Despite some reports, a LW is very much on the agenda for us to address this summer, and it is likely we get one. Leao and Ndiaye are two concrete names I know, also Diomande but his price could be an issue. Tyler Adams is a name our data team is very big on and they're the ones recommending him as an option, other recruitment team members are not keen on him as the right fit, but the data team is big on him.

I just googled Ligue 1 Team of The Season in search for one name. And sure enough, in black and white, it was there. Mamadou Sangare. An exciting talent with a very similar profile to Baleba but who has had a very strong season and whom Brighton themselves have looked at and Liverpool are now rumoured to be interested in. His price was cheap and now it is expected to soar. One has been consistently strong. The other has been consistently poor. But guess who Manchester United are buzzing around like a fly on 💩?
RedDevilGirl@CharZiyanah

I would have been on the phone to Mamadou Sangare’s camp. He’s a young talent on wages of about £13k a week and gettable for circa £15m. Minimum, he gives us depth, he won’t eat up huge wages and we get our money back/make a profit. And at best, he shines, helps us get European football, and we solve a problem before the Summer and suddenly can splurge on an extra midfielder or allocate more to a top CB.
