One of my financial mistakes 2024 i opened a pure water factory for additional income. In fact in my head I had imagined that it’s blood money business I was about to enter because I felt the expenses will be small so I imagined plenty profit. In my mind I said after all I’m not buying the water. Anyway let me first use 5 minutes to laugh at my self first before I start 😂😂😂 I bought every machine it needed to Nafdac standard,I also registered it with Nafdac so my sale was very legit. That gave me my first experience with Nafdac I started with 3 cars,a hilux truck and 2 open boot bikes. We kicked off and my reality set in. First of all printing of roll was more expensive than i thought,already taking half of my money. Then as a producer our price is usually regulated with other factories,we cannot give drivers higher than other factories because we had a union binding us and it was part of our rules. We are producers so we don’t sell directly,we give to drivers at cheaper rate then they sell and make their money. As at that time I was giving each bag of water to my drivers at 120 naira a bag sometimes 150. Now I will still buy fuel for the cars ooo Even when i considered the option of them buying fuel and adjusting their price I still suffered for it. I also pay each bagger 10 naira to bag 1 bag,this is minus other salaries of the people in production handling the major sealing machines ooo I was burning electricity and light bill as if fire was burning my Nyash. I changed filters every two weeks and it’s not cheap I ran diesel to support Nepa because of course I live in Nigerian. I had so many staffs on salaries too and there are so many other expenses i cannot say all here. Abi is it car maintenance,story for another day 🥱 Drivers will owe me and they kept giving excuses that customers are owing them,all lies,infact me,drivers and police station became customers every week. I gave most of this drivers accommodation ooo but the truth is they are full blown thieves. At the end of every sales I make money but it goes like the wind to expenses and I will be left with only money to replace the rolls to produce again. To cut the long story short I was close to running madd then I shut down the business and I regained my sanity. If you have ever ran a pure water business you will understand this post better than anyone else,and if you intend to open a pure water factory first go to Amadioha and take juju make all your workers first swear oath before you start and take jazz not to run madd. On Eid Mubarak day, I almost cried. Not because I was sad or anything bad happened, but because I was happy. We usually go to my uncle’s house to celebrate, but my wife said we should celebrate at home. I wanted to say no. I tried to convince her, but she stood her ground. On Thursday, she called and asked me to send money for what they would cook. I hesitated a bit 😁😁, then sent it. She came back that evening with plenty of items. I helped her carry everything inside, killed the chickens, and boiled them. On Eid day, I fried the chicken and, as usual, ate some 😁. We went for prayers, and when we got back, she went straight to the kitchen and started cooking. When she was done, we shared the food with our neighbors. I was genuinely happy. Seeing my wife in the kitchen like that… for the first time in my life, I was able to experience this. A few years ago, we struggled to eat. Now, we cooked and still had enough to give others. I sat down quietly, and someone nearby was playing Suratul Rahman. I bowed my head and said, “Fabi ayyi ala’i rabbikuma tukaththiban” — which of Allah’s favors will I ever deny? Alhamdulillah. I’m proud of how far we’ve come. And this is just the beginning.

Iran is about to start raking in billions of dollars from the $2,000,000 toll they’re imposing for passage per ship on the Strait of Hormuz. Currently, there are 3200 ships line up in a queue waiting to pay by cash, barter or crypto in yuan. Over 40,000 sailors are waiting. That’s something like $6 billion dollars waiting to hit Iranian coffers. The U.S.-Israel war on Iran was meant to block them from access to resources, but ended up presenting the complete opposite effect. That is why the U.S. are making preparations for a ground invasion. But that ground invasion will be one of the U.S. most strategic miscalculations of all times, if they dare move on with the plan. Let’s wait and see.
