Confidence is building for an England Test-ODI tour of Zimbabwe ahead of next year’s World Cup. England have not toured Zimbabwe since 2004. There could be more incentive for teams to play Zimbabwe, who may be part of a 12-team World Test Championship cricketfj.com/p/exclusive-co…

In Europe or in America they have fuel reserves which they release when life is hard times like these,so that prices they don’t quickly skyrocket! In Zim we have the same strategic Reserve levy, however, on the first instance we have as a country prices have surged in an unprecedented way! Why is the government now collecting more taxes now in hard times than it was doing a year ago?Why does the government increase taxes when its citizens are at their lowest! @nickmangwana is the government not suppose to be helping its people ?

Very 3 sentences are very condescending. You can't approach life with debasing of other people's feeling and expect it to be game day anytime. People get tired of being invalidated. What you think is small could be the biggest issue. Peace is important. "Respect is earned" means I have looked at everything you do and nothing convinces me that I should respect you. Miswai mainini

These 2 men Honourable T. Mukuhlani and MD G Makoni have transformed the cricket landscape forever , the only reason they don’t get credit is because they are black and they have excelled in a sport where black people must never excel. Today i pay tribute to them. 1. Cleared uSD $30 million legacy debts restoring @ZimCricketv back to financial health. 2. players and staff now paid on time with no one owed any salaries or match fees. 3. @ZimCricketv only sports federation returning clean audited accounts year after year. 4. First class and list A now being played consistently with the upcoming season going to be even bigger and better. 5. Club cricket back with a bang. 6. Women cricket structures now in place and the women’s game growing fast countrywide. 7. Organizing Record number of test matches in a calendar year in the history of Zimbabwe 8. Restoring relations with the England Cricket Board after many years of painstaking negotiations,(county teams and English clubs now choosing Zimbabwe as a destination of choice. 9. Developing infrastructure and facilities from scratch ( The Victoria falls stadium, Gweru Stadium, Dangamvura stadium, construction of the National Cricket Academy in Esigodini in Matebeland,Harare sports club indoor facility and gym , indoor facilities for the 5 provincial centres, flood lights for Queens Sports Club. 10. Qualification for the T20 World Cup in india and Sri Lanka I am now tired i will continue later 😂 @kwirirayi @AdamTheofilatos @CricketZimbo @TatendaJokonya @Jeromepaida87

#MugabeFromLiberationHeroToDictator Today marks the fifth anniversary of the death of the late former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe. Mugabe died on 6 September 2019 aged 95 at the state-of-the-art Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore. However, he left Zimbabwe's health delivery system in a critical state of collapse and hospitals intensive care unit. While he divides opinion, most verdicts of his leadership record as Zimbabwe's as leader for 37 years are that he was a disastrous and unmitigated failure as he left a legacy of economic destruction, political violence and human rights abuses, including crimes against humanity, as well as mismanagement, corruption, poverty and suffering. But the more balanced and nuanced narrative of his rule is that he was a liberation struggle hero turned villain, while his harsh critics - and there are many - say he was cruel and evil through and through.

My preferred playing X1 for Zimbabwe today - Brian Bennett Brendan Taylor Sean Williams Dion Myers Sikandar Raza Ryan Burl Tadiwanashe Marumani Bradley Evans Tino Maposa Blessing Muzarabani Richard Ngarava 1. BT & Bennett to start firing from the word go. 2. Sean Williams & Dion Myers to provide stability in the middle order. 3. Sikandar, Ryan Burl & Marumani as finisher. 4. In case needed, Evans & Maposa can plug in a quick 15-20 runs.

Although a disappointing loss by @ZimCricketv against @OfficialSLC a much better performance by our lads - so they must take heart. My view - replace Trevor Gwandu with Earnest Masuku and we would have won comfortably. That 23 run over was the difference between victory and defeat. But I appreciated the battling batting performance and, other than Gwandu, nice tight bowling.
