@Beesotted As well as Hickey. Means KLP can play up front in his natural position. Also nice to have a bench filled with players Andrews will be willing to sub on (Henderson, Janelt, Outarra, and VDB) so we can get fresh legs on during second half.

@ChrisO_wiki @AndrewPerpetua I was in UK for secondary school, but did the International Baccalaureate. The module on post war Soviet Union had a section on Ukraine and like you said covered it, but by another name.

@AndrewPerpetua UK. We learned about it, though not by that name, in sixth form (tertiary school) as part of a module on Stalinist Russia. This would have been near the end of the Cold War.

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

@davidfolkenflik Funny story - My dad almost got hired by the Star in 1979, but his 2nd interview got delayed until after my mom gave birth to my sister. The Post reached him first, brought him down for an interview and offered him a job that day. Spent 27 years and won a Pulitzer at the Post.

@asymmetricinfo @ASFleischman When doing our will, the first draft said we wanted to stay in our home and not be moved to a nursing home. After hard experiences with family, we had the lawyer take that language out and explicitly said we are okay with being put in one. Don’t want to burden our son.

I got this from a ton of people who had no idea what would have been involved in caring for my 6’7 father, who had lost mobility, in a narrow row home with an open concept first floor. No privacy, no place to put the full time live-in help required, $300k+ a year for the help

Every time I see the "you're a terrible person if you put your parents in the nursing home" discourse I crash out bc it's one of those things that you literally don't know wtf you're talking about unless you've been in that position yourself.

@bfcgpg I’ll just say only 2 of our next 6 PL games are against bottom half teams. The schedule is fairly tough from here to the end of the season. 6 of the last ten are top half teams and 3 of our last 5 are against top 5 teams. Hoping for the best.

JMU's Peyton McDaniel makes 1st-team All-Sun Belt, but doesn't repeat as Player of the Year. I can see picking best player on first-place team, I guess. But McDaniel & Marshall's Lewis-Eutsey were so far ahead of everyone in basic & advanced stats it's a bit of a surprise.

Every coach is going to have their own style & preferences, but watching JMU beat up on ODU over & over with Virginia players, usually a few from 757, it's hard not to wonder why ODU doesn't seem all that interested, or possibly is just unsuccessful, recruiting in-state.

@JMUSportsNews Very true. Want to highlight Robinson’s defense. During the ND game, she held Hidalgo who is 3rd in the nation in scoring with 24.9 PPG to just 13 points. Elite defender which can come in handy during the tournament. Team just needs to limit turnovers.
