@GNairambulance @JDF_Keswick The H145 is truly an exceptional HEMS aircraft. Having worked in H109, MD902, H135, H145, Twin Sqirrell, S92, Black Hawk, Chinook and Osprey, I think you’ll be pleased with the H145 capabilities (as the chinook’s probably out of the running) 🤣

Severe (and isolated) TBI patients do not do well if hypotensive post intubation. Higher SBP thresholds needed to prevent mortality than previously published.

@DrRJWebb Yes often have done this, also pumps not necessarily an issue. Ive used micrel pumps which are light and small but micro bolus, fine for most things prehospital 👍

@phemDM Place for starting metaraminol infusion on induction and then weaning (or not) to smooth this out? Only barrier is infusion pumps PH, but not insurmountable I suspect.

@phemDM I think the agility, ambition and governance of air ambulance charities is exceptional. Not disparaging of NHS trusts but I think they can learn alot. Be prepared be frustrated by red tape, accepting you know what you are going into - really hope it works out well - Good luck
