This is by a country mile the worst of ‘our’ NHS. Compete and abject failure to invest in GP, out of hospital care and anything that looks like proactive care ends up with tragic deaths in the completely wrong place

Reading a medical chart. Same errors repeated over and over again by people relying on copy/paste. Yes it's fast and yes it's easy. But it's lazy, obvious, and it makes for a shitty note. Please stop doing this. I said what I said.

What is this blood test, and please tell me we’re not bleeding every febrile child who attends ED? This just reinforces over reliance on healthcare, when the majority could/should be looked after at home if health education was better.

We all have encountered people who treat their bosses well but are jerks to their colleagues/trainees. Your true character is reflected by how you treat people that have no power over you. Treat your nurses, RTs, porters, cleaners, students, trainees, pharmacists, admin, and yourself kindly. If we all did this, our hospitals would be an even better place to work!
