@irishelt Not necessarily the case, it takes time for everyone to look at something clearly when dissapointment is the overriding feeling. Football can be cruel and one mistake can be overly punished. That is the team we have, and they are hurting, so we need to support them now.

Sorry folks but if the players and management have no problem taking all the plaudits when Ireland wins then stand up and take it on the chin when you lose. Losing is part of the game but everyone could see that Ireland blew it. Frustrating because Ireland SHOULD have won.

It’s uncanny how many times the word “Formica” pops up in novels. I’ve been noticing it for years. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say Formica outside the world of fiction.
