@rpg_haven @RhysSullivan I often have text in the windows clipboard and I want to paste it... right here. Right click, new text file. Double click, paste. Sometimes I open the app first and then save. Losing either option would be like losing a limb.

@RhysSullivan I agree this is kind of weird, but I've also never needed to do this outside of the context of the command line. Why do you need to create an empty file through a GUI?

VS2022 just warned me that .net 6.0 is out of support and will no longer receive updates. I haven't quite got round to starting to use it yet. I wonder if my usage of MFC from the 1990's is also out of support. Will have to check on that.

Every Microsoft product ever - ctrl F to search for text, except Outlook. I read somewhere that Bill Gates himself intervened to have ctrl F forward an email. So I've spent my whole life trying to remember how to search for text in an email in Outlook.🫤

The new Outlook puts a squiggle under my bad spelling. If I right mouse click the word, does it offer me the correct spelling? No, it offers me an emoji. :-(

@YouTube The latest version of the Youtube app (Sep 4 in UK) on my Sony Bravia OLED crashes / exits as soon as it has loaded.

@TeamYouTube Only our Sony TV. The TV software is up to date. We have temporarily resolved the issue by uninstalling all updates which I think reverted the app to the version that came with the TV. We tried re-installing but the problem definitely seems to be with the latest version.

@philbeck bummed to hear this! is this happening across all devices? if you haven't yet, we recommend making sure that your TV's software is updated to the latest version and it's connected to a stable internet connection. lmk how that goes
