This is me in Remoulins France.. getting pulled out of my comfort zone and loving it Language learning is one of the purest forms of personal growth available to anyone. It forces you outside your comfort zone and teaches you to be okay with making mistakes ….then getting up and trying again anyway. When I started speaking French (and I’m still far from fluent), the biggest lesson was this: You have to get comfortable sounding like an idiot. Using simple words. Getting corrected in public. Looking silly. That’s where the growth happens. You can grind apps and Duolingo all day, but nothing accelerates your progress like immersing yourself and actually speaking with natives. The awkwardness is the feature, not a bug. If you’re scared of messing up, you’re missing the point. Embrace the discomfort. The version of you on the other side is worth it. Sorry for the slow posting & releasing! Our videographer/webmaster Diablo (that'd be me) suffered a bad back injury in March that will very likely require surgery. It has been a very stressful time, so it's been difficult for me to focus on work and video releases. But I'm trying to pull myself together after doing a month of physical therapy that actually made my condition worse. It's been tough mentally and physically, but I hope to get back to posting & video releasing soon. Thanks everyone!
