What an terrible experience booking a flight on @easyJet is. Want to bring a bag? Sweet £30. Want to make sure you sit next to your 5 year old, wife & new born? Cool £60. Everything costs. Everything about it screams we don’t give a shit. Does any airline actually do this well?

@bertil_hatt @easyJet I know it’s what to expect when using this type of airline, but it’s been a while since I booked a flight and I don’t remember it ever being this bad. Especially when the ticket prices aren’t even particularly cheap.

@philhammel @easyJet EasyJet and RyanAir are known for that particular brand of nickel-and-diming and their general… “indifference” to their clients’ comfort. Check RyanAir CEO. I’m not sure traditional brands are better. Some like the flexibility of only paying for what you use on cheap airlines.

@graceclarke It’s the hardest thing that you’ll ever do, but if you lean into it, there is pure magic there. Sure some things go to shit for a while, but the amount of purpose you feel is unrivalled. I don’t love being a parent all the time, but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Unpopular opinion: Having children sounds terrifying. As if I’d lose myself, my relationship, and my career. Yet everyone seems to do it. Are you all happy? Happy mostly when they’re older and you have people to come home for Thanksgiving? I wish people would honestly reply
