@simonw I'd guess (?) that answers the context window length question. Though given that OA is charging more for 32k maybe Bing is using the 32k for e.g. webpage summarization and then 8k for dialog.

@simonw @MParakhin ChatGPT / Codex is ~8K IIRC twitter.com/goodside/statu…. There was another analysis but can't find the thread now. So would expect Bing to be at least 8K.

Update: Recollection of the start of the conversation reliably fails after 7 repetitions of the ~1024-token input. This suggests that text-davinci-002-render, the model underlying ChatGPT, has a likely context length of 8192 tokens, with some tokens consumed by formatting.

Imagine a LLM that is used to control a system that is more sensitive and exposing commands like this could be pretty bad Pretty hard to protect a LLM currently if it’s exposed as a direct interface

@mat ASTM level 2/3 surgical mask (armbrustusa.com - don’t buy off amazon, low quality/fake) and @FixTheMask. Better than N95 bc it fits face always (N95 fail almost half time in studies of random fit tests). ASTM level 2/3 mask is ~N95 in filtration. W/ good fit = 👍
