In South Korea, some tall buildings now have small gravity escape systems where you clip in, release a brake, and gently lower yourself to safety without electricity 🪂

This is a genuinely interesting story. Huge amount of automated work, potentially saving hundreds of thousands of human hours. BUT: with an error rate of 10%, and with the precise reading of *every* word mattering in such an exercise, it is meaningless, and for manuscripts of authority worse than useless, without a human checking every single word. BUT: there simply aren't people, in 2026, with the expertise, the time, and the funding to check these 32,000 manuscripts at this level. Welcome to Digital Humanities Slop.

If we rebuilt it this would instantly become one of the most iconic tourist sites in the country. Imagine each building turned into a mixture of restaurants and pubs, branches of the museum of London, the British Museum and the V&A, with some government entertaining spaces.

I want to share a quick update with all of you. Recently, I was involved in a motorcycle accident while avoiding a family of deer. I’m grateful to say that I’m okay and taking the necessary time to recover. It’s been a sobering reminder of how quickly things can change—and how important it is to stay grounded, present, and appreciative of the people around us. I’ve always believed that resilience isn’t just about enduring challenges, but learning from them and moving forward with purpose. This is no different. To everyone who has reached out—thank you. Your support means more than I can adequately express. And to those planning to join me on the upcoming podcast tour: I’m still very much looking forward to seeing you all. We’ve got important conversations ahead, and I intend to be there for them. Stay safe, stay curious, and I’ll see you soon

@RepThomasMassie Essay: Ehud Barak managing Epstein with bimonthly meetings to get the dirt on US VIPs is entirely unconnected to the Israelis fudning Thomas Massie's opponents after he pushed for related info to be released. Discuss.

The biggest voter fraud the US faces is billionaires who deceptively and nefariously influence 10s of millions of votes. Using your vast resources of money and power to trick people to vote against their own interests and for your benefit is the epitome of voter fraud.

@WallStreetApes doesn't look bad. I saw a worse one in Britain. The explanation was that it was staff training. They put short stretches of path down out on the roads because it's better than just laying path and ripping it up again, which makes sense. There is likely a reason.

San Diego California resident shows the city just put in this very short bike lane on an 805 freeway exit It’s brand new, crosses the freeway entrance and exit, goes a short distance and then ends at a road not even open to the public It serves no purpose. Money laundering

Do you have physical intuition? Don’t ask an AI. A material is transparent. Is it most likely an n-type semiconductor, a Weyl semimetal, or a polymer? Why?

Part of me worries that this is actually what AARO leadership want. I can’t work out the benefit, or the angle, but it’s almost like they’ve been trying to get defunded and closed down since the start. And they don’t do anything by accident. They’re the only department technically deputised to gain access to everything (albeit I don’t believe they try to get what they should try to get). Without them we’re left with just asking agencies to hand over the documents please and hoping they comply thoroughly. A better option, in my opinion, would be to select new leadership - someone like David Grusch.

I will be recommending to the Chairman of DOGE @timburchett that we completely DISBAND & DEFUND AARO.

@LibertarianMama It's nothing to do with the Israeli government running security on Epstein's house in NY because he was working for Mossad, and I'm clearly a Jewish anti-Semite for thinking drawing that connection.
