@Pseudo_Prophet_ I’ve been to Chongqing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Xi’an and Beijing. Lived there well over 4 years. These cities do have slums. But that’s only a small portion. Much of it is still crazy developed and rich with culture and history.

This is Chongqing, the so called Cyberpunk city of China.
The very same city you see in all of those paid propaganda travel vlogs.
It looks just like any other third world city once you get out of the main city streets.😒
(Check out the beautiful main street at 50 sec mark).

Prostitution is illegal in China, but there are still 50 to 80 million prostitutes in China. 😳 BTW, this is what real China looks like where the last majority of the Chinese people live, Behind those empty skyscrapers, shining with LED lights.

Yesterday I was in a taxi, on my way to Christmas dinner, casually scrolling X.
I wasn’t even looking for content.
And then I saw this guy.
Absolutely convinced he cracked the code.
His thesis?
“Nobody wants crypto anymore.
The old crypto crowd moved to prediction markets and stocks.
Crypto is dead.
Nobody will ever come back.”
And I’m reading this thinking:
You have to be completely sleepwalking through life to believe this, but the real comedy is thinking it’s an intelligent take.
Let me ask you something.
In 2021, during the biggest crypto bull run ever (in terms of global adoption)… why do you think everyone suddenly loved crypto?
Was it the tech?
The philosophy?
The decentralized utopia?
Or was it simply because everything was going up like crazy and people dreamed of becoming millionaire instantly?
Be honest.
Do you think people were buying NFTs because they believed in the “future of digital art”?
Or because you could buy any random JPEG and 10x your net worth in two days?
Exactly.
It’s always the same story:
Greed.
Speculation.
Easy money.
Nothing else.
Now fast-forward to today.
Crypto PA has been nuked for 2–3 years.
95% of the magic internet coins look completely dead.
No easy money.
No cheap dopamine.
So what happens?
People get bored.
People get tired.
People leave.
They chase stocks at all-time highs.
They chase prediction markets.
They chase metals.
They chase whatever just pumped.
Which is… normal behavior for (allow me the technicism) retards.
Because when money isn’t easy anymore, the majority can’t think beyond the next candle.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes:
Adoption keeps growing.
Infrastructure keeps improving.
Institutions keep positioning.
But retail doesn’t care about that.
Retail only cares after the chart goes vertical.
Same with stocks.
Same with gold.
Gold was “boring” when you could buy it for a third of today’s price.
Now it’s at highs and suddenly it’s:
“Financial freedom.
Safe haven.
Smart money.”
No, you’re just late to the party.
You’re not investing.
You’re chasing pumps.
And guess where you can still position before real liquidity comes and the upside actually happens?
Yes.
Magic internet money industry.
So all these people screaming “crypto is dead” at the bottom?
They have zero understanding of capital rotation.
Zero understanding of macro & liquidity cycles.
Zero understanding of how money actually moves.
To conclude this quick Xmas rent:
If you want to sell your crypto here to chase stocks or precious metals after the monstrous uptrends they already had, it’s your call.
But, in a few months from now, there is a high chance you will regret this decision.
So, before letting idiots on X convince you to abandon the most undervalued industry in this time in history, maybe (just maybe) do some research on what crypto can become in the next 5/10 years.
Look at the mega-trend behind it.
That’s all.
Wish you all a wonderful Christmas.

Have you seen ETH/BTC!?
Have you seen TOTAL3!?
Have you seen BTC dominance!?
Have you see the RSI/MACD!?
Have you seen QT ending!?
Have you seen the Russel!?
Have you seen ...!?
Yes I've seen all of it. But I keep highlighting the importance of confirming vs predicting.
The chart below actually highlights how useless most of that is.
Do they potentially highlight what could come and could be? Yes they do.
But as long as you have a series of lower highs and lower lows they don't. It's tough to pull every bullish metric out there when price simply says we don't yet.
Why not wait for confirmation on alts DIRECTLY. Why not ITSELF?
Why pull 100 charts saying X is ultra bullish right now but X itself isn't showing it yet.
Don't be mistaken with my post, I also believe in better days.
I just won't say alts are SUPER BULLISH untill they are. Untill I see it from alts directly and get confirmation from them.
All these charts and arguments have been pulled for weeks and months now and the altcoin chart has continued to drop.
(there is some promise today though with a small hint of consolidation at a major support level)
But the last few weeks? Honestly very little.
Especially with Bitcoin dropping I've made it very clear that we aren't out of the clear yet back then.
Pulling a dozens of charts and saying everything is ultra bullish but stuff drop another 50-70% and then start going up isn't being right.
That isn't trading or investing either. We all know we eventually will bounce.
But there is a difference saying it daily vs when we eventually will.
I need to see newfound momentum DIRECTLY. Not 100s of predicting reasons why we might.
And it's always the same feedback:
"Hah, you'll be late when you do"
Basic mathematics:
An asset bouncing 50% and pulling the trigger after a 90% correction is still 85% down.
I'm talking about an all-in scenario to pull the trigger btw.
I also still continue to scout and sometimes even pull the trigger on a very select few assets today.
Even when altseason (the mythical word) hasn't arrived yet.
Because I believe regardless of anything there are still some assets that will defy the overal trend. Those that will even slightly perform in case things haven't started yet.
But the mother of all altseasons arriving based on X or Y or Z but they just don't show it yet it's extremely simple:
They won't for now.
This might be a stupid comparison but one I like:
It's like someone mentioning 100 different reasons why Pinguïns can fly.
- It's a bird!
- It has wings!
- They have feathers!
- They have beaks!
- They lay eggs!
But unless the pinguin ITSELF shows hints of taking flight, well it simply won't start flying.
(again, not the best example as I eventually do expect alts to take "flight" but just when I see it"
AGAIN:
Confirming > predicting

"You never truly quit crypto. Not even when you make it"
I think there's a lot of truth to this for most people. We spend so much time here that things would kinda become hollow leaving it all behind.
I do know someone however that was able to largely step away after retiring in this space.
Maybe it's because it wasn't the normal retirement numbers either. She made it BIG (capital to last generations).
I think ultimately that's the FINAL goal. I think it's indeed almost impossible to truly step away. Yet I think that's actually the best outcome someone can take.
I'm not saying this because of the bad in here. I'm purely saying this because of the time sink mostly.
You spend so much time in here that eventually when you make it you don't want to continue to sink hours in here forever.
So much more on the outside. I'm checking my mobile or phone even when I'm around family often (because of habit).
I feel bad when I haven't checked prices or my messages or haven't scrolled through crypto twitter to keep up for a few years.
And I'm a good example because I don't even NEED TO anymore (I already made it. Not for generations but I'm good).
Can you continue to invest just in Bitcoin and Ethereum? Absolutely.
But other than that I think the real goal is next to passively investing some to just go on and enjoy your day.
Uninterrupted quality time with friends and family. Not feeling forced to keep up with anything.
Just going.
