@LucyABeaumont One of the most useful things is that each plug is fused, so if something goes wrong then you only blow the fuse in the plug, not the whole circuit as in every other country.

@elonmusk The claim was made by Nazir Afzal on BB4 back in 2018. Nazir was the chief crown prosecutor in the Rochdale grooming gang cases in 2012. For anyone interested you can listen to the interview here. The claim is from about 2:08.

@maw6578 Can you send a copy of this circular? If not I must assume it doesn't exist &it's a just a bald assertion. I suspect it's true but I'd like the truth laid out, especially as such a circular would include a signature. I want to see that signature.
