I welcome HMRC’s conclusion, which has cleared me of any wrongdoing. I have been exonerated by HMRC of the accusation that I deliberately sought to avoid tax. When purchasing a home of my own with a mortgage, I did not own any other property and had no personal financial interest in the court-instructed trust set up to manage my son’s financial award. I was advised by experts that I should pay stamp duty at the standard rate. I set out to pay the correct amount of tax. I took reasonable care and acted in good faith, based on the expert advice I received, and HMRC has accepted this. I have always sought to act with integrity, and I believe politicians should be held to high standards - that is why I resigned from government and cooperated fully with HMRC.  I wanted to ensure that I paid every penny that I owed, and have done so. I am relieved that my family can now move on - and that I can get on with my job.

Brutal resignation letter from Jess Phillips accusing the PM of action on violence against women & girls *only* as a reponse to ‘catastrophic mistakes’ & after ‘threats’ by JP when Safeguarding Minister ‘…real change and direction in this area usually came from threats made by me in light of catastrophic mistakes. The Mandelson saga whenever it bubbled up made No. 10 kick into gear on the subject in order to prove our credentials. I will never waste a crisis to make advancements for women and girls and so demands were made and some were met’

Neighbours have finally broken their silence on the horror house in Banks, Lancashire, and the truth about Axel Rudakubana is as ugly as expected. This Rwandan import, the 17-year-old son of Alphonse and Laetitia Rudakubana, was raised in a cauldron of screams, grunts, and objects hurled against walls. He hadn’t stepped out alone in over two years. On the morning of 29 July 2024 his parents and brother simply watched him leave anyway. Empty knife boxes littered the place. He glared through English neighbours like they were already corpses. The signs were everywhere; the imported family ignored them, obstructed authorities, and let the monster walk free into a Taylor Swift dance class, which begs the question, they should be held accountable at the very least. Three native English girls, Bebe, Alice, Elsie butchered. Ten more slashed and scarred for life. All because Britain imported this family from Rwanda’s chaos and pretended they could be turned into civilised locals. The public inquiry mutters about “moral failure” by the parents and systemic breakdowns. Fine. But the root failure is national: a deliberate policy of flooding English villages with Third World imports whose cultural DNA carries violence, dysfunction, and zero loyalty to our people. Axel Rudakubana did not spring from English soil. He arrived with it, was sheltered by it, and unleashed it on our daughters. The family has scarpered into hiding, no doubt on the taxpayer’s dime. The neighbours endure a living nightmare. The house is for sale like tainted goods. And still the elite refuses to say the obvious: mass immigration from incompatible corners of the globe imports incompatible savagery. Native English children are not collateral damage in some enrichment experiment. England belongs to the English. Our streets, our villages, our daughters’ safety come first, before any foreign import, any asylum sob story, any diversity quota. Hold them to account and then Deport the remnants of this family. End the importation. Reclaim our country before the next Rudakubana strikes. Nothing less will suffice.

You won't hear a peep about this from Farage, Tice or Jenrick. Under the Tories, up to 400 hotels were being used to house asylum seekers. With Labour, there are now just 185, with 11 more hotels re-opening to the public, saving the taxpayer £65 million a year.
Alex Norris MP@AlexJJNorris

There were more than 400 asylum hotels under the previous government – that number has been more than halved, with 11 more closing this week. Labour is bringing the asylum system under control.

Taxpayers should not be footing millions of pounds to accommodate families who have no right to be in the UK, especially when other asylum seekers comply with the rules and leave the UK when required. We are acting to remove them quickly, cut hotel use and slash costs.

The brutal, senseless murders of Bebe, Elsie and Alice marked one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. The report today is truly harrowing and profoundly disturbing. It sets out systematic failures that led to this terrible event. I’ve been overwhelmed by the bravery and determination of their families and while nothing will ever bring these three little girls back, I’m determined to make the fundamental changes needed to keep the public safe. I will do everything I can to honour the memory of Bebe, Elsie, and Alice.

The grooming gangs’ scandal is one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. The independent national Inquiry will now begin its crucial work to uncover how these crimes were allowed to happen and root out failure wherever it occurred. There will be no hiding place for the predatory monsters who committed these vile crimes.

I'm drafting a series of profiles on the politicians involved in the Pakistani rape gang cover up. I thought I'd start with Jess Phillips. Jess Phillips Jess Phillips became MP for Birmingham Yardley in 2015. That same year, West Midlands Police had a confidential profile sitting in a file identifying 700 children at risk of sexual exploitation in her city. She did not just hold a Birmingham seat. In opposition she held the shadow safeguarding brief. When Labour won the election she was appointed Safeguarding Minister on day one. The portfolio she had spent years preparing for in opposition became hers in government the moment the votes were counted. She was the shadow minister for the exact problem she was doing nothing about. In Parliament she said she would be lying if she denied that over the years, girls had told her police were part of not just the cover-up but the perpetration of abuse in Birmingham. Read that again. The Minister for Safeguarding Girls. A Birmingham MP since 2015. Shadow minister for safeguarding throughout the years of opposition. Victims coming to her with allegations of police involvement in rape gang abuse across her own city. When Labour took power she did not call a national inquiry. She tried to help bury one. After being exposed for blocking a public inquiry in Oldham, she offered councils a £5 million fund to investigate themselves. The same councils that had presided over the abuse. Marking their own homework. She was forced into a U-turn in June 2025 and a statutory inquiry was announced. Within weeks survivors on the panel began resigning. They said the scope was being quietly widened away from grooming gangs and toward general child sexual abuse. Phillips told Parliament their claims were categorically untrue. Evidence then emerged that they were telling the truth. Five survivors made her resignation a condition of their return to the panel. Both prospective chairs withdrew. The inquiry she had spent a decade in position to lead was described by a survivor as feeling like a cover-up, scripted and predetermined. The girls who came to her as victims did not get a decade to prepare. They did not get a U-turn when the pressure mounted. They got told their accounts were untrue by the woman whose job title said she was there to protect them. Perhaps @jessphillips would like to comment on the accuracy of the draft? Let me know if you want anything else added. _________ I’m Raja Miah MBE. For seven years, I led a campaign that exposed how senior Labour politicians helped protect Pakistani rape gangs. The people of my town helped force the national inquiry. You won’t see me on the BBC. You won’t read my work in the legacy press. That’s not an accident. I take this to a place from where there is no coming back. Children were sold for votes. My work is free. No paywalls. No gatekeeping. No exclusions. The truth shouldn’t belong only to those who can afford it. If you can afford to do so, supporting me costs as little as 75p a week (£30 a year). You can support me using one of these links; 👉 BuyMeACoffee.com/recusantnine 👉 paypal.me/RecusantNine We’re up against a machine, politicians, police, officials, and media, working together to shrink, sanitise, and bury the truth.
