@philwalk666 @prog_1211 I respect it and what it’s doing tho I just personally physically hate the noises going in my ears and I guess that’s pretty make or break for noise

torture devices. not necessarily bad, but some definitely are. either difficult in listen because of their avant garde nature or because you'd want to turn them off.

@lisco_2000 Ngl, people being DRAMATIC AF in the replies. Try one of those Meetup sites to find clubs, festivals, etc. No matter how SHITTY the town is, you can find AT LEAST a couple cool people to make friends with

genuinely seeking advice: how do you cope with moving from a major city back to a completely unwalkable rural/suburban area where you have no friends and need to drive everywhere (as an adult)

@Jek_Korpen Skyrim Remastered made me realize Ive grown out of video games. I tried so hard to enjoy it, like when I was a kid, but it was just SO BORING. Nowadays I'm pretty much done with games, except for the occasional story driven indie game

-visually appealing. sure the people are ugly as mules, but the scenic views are gorgeous. -a very basic, not overwhelming progression system it strikes a nice balance of helping you along, but not treating you like a moron too much -the plot is generic, yes, but the smaller details were unique -tons of mods -vanilla basically has all the classic flawless/frustrating game design themes that formed all the culture, making it basically a rite of passage skyrim's a great way to introduce someone to games as a medium.

I still remember the midnight release. We built a throne out of collectors edition boxes.

Sometimes a video essay is an hour long video that amounts to an explication of something that I could have just read in significantly less time

@echoalexander_ Near Death Experience by Bryan Lewis Saunders. Dark, disturbing, yet beautiful spoken word poetry on top of noisy instrumentals. PLEASE listen to PCP Poetry, you won't regret it

@sharpedges756 Hot take: Some people listen to TOO MUCH MUSIC, and they get burnt out. They stop being able to thoughtful criticism and they get bitter

blustere is one of those p4kcore indiehead types with a very narrow-minded view of music. his takes on metal throughout the video are atrocious, just the most surface-level complaints and criticisms imaginable? not sure why you want us to praise him for doing the bare minimum
Victoria@prog_1211

actually I think it's loser behavior to make fun of someone for trying to broaden their horizons. like yes we should all just listen to the same music we already like and never change, this would surely be better than letting people explore new genres to them.
