These @Dyson vacuum cleaners really do suck! I spend more time cleaning up after this thing than it does cleaning! Had a @NumaticH for years and it knocks this plastic white out the park! Last one of these I ever buy!

@curtainpolesuk i’m looking to order a couple of poles for bay windows. It mentions a wall fix bracket. Our bays go to ceiling. Can they be fixed to ceiling instead?

@philwright1975 It's possible. I used 2 visit many schools in the city back then. I suspect it was me, but I can't say 4 sure. I remember visiting 1 school in Nottingham, & I was late because the police had stopped me at the school gate. They didn't believe I was a visiting poet. Teacher rescue!

@BZephaniah we had a Rastafarian poet come to our school, Rushcliffe, in Nottingham in the late 80s. Can you please confirm whether this might have been you? I have asked my old school friends and they can’t remember. I hope I’m not going mad!

@BZephaniah That sounds about right. Our school was out in the suburbs, it was a relatively affluent area. I travelled out from the inner city and the visit had a lasting affect on me as I grew up in a diverse community, I don’t think that the others will have related.
