Often collective responsibility is for the greater good, despite the demand for individual blame. It was heartening to see good people stand for the latest election.

The statement refers to the need to 'listen and learn'. The crux of it for me. We need to understand how this happened and how we prevent similar issues arising again. It is vital that a full reflection takes place with people taking personal accountability where appropriate.
