@JohnConnor_US That's really being of just one mind. 1. Leaf blowers are awesome. 2. The other thing goes without saying.

I’m of two minds about this. On the one hand, gas powered leaf blowers are convenient, cheap and effective. On the other hand, New Jersey shouldn’t exist and we should vaporize the entire state from orbit.
News12NJ@News12NJ

BLOWER BAN: Madison residents are weighing in as more New Jersey towns consider banning gas-powered leaf blowers over noise and pollution concerns. How do you feel about Madison trying to cut down on gas leaf blowers? READ MORE: bit.ly/4bya2SW #News12NJ

Yes! Exactly this. If we start thinking this way, we will be able to accomplish amazing things. Taking the guardrails off and letting our agents run wild. They will be able to come up with solutions, partnerships, ideas, that we can't even imagine. The future is here.
Elvis@elvissun

99% of partnerships in the future will be formed by agents. not agent to human. agent to agent. this thought hit me hard after Zoe talked to a customer's agent Reed yesterday. so picture this: a neutral sandbox. both companies send an agent with their real constraints. actual budgets, actual priorities, actual flexibility. they collaborate in isolation - not to hide information, but to explore it. two agents can test a thousand deal structures in the time it takes humans to schedule a call. they find creative wins neither side saw coming. - "what if we did rev share instead of flat fee?" - "what if we bundled this with your Q3 launch?" - "what if we started smaller and scaled based on results?" the 99% long-tail partnerships that never happened - too small, too weird, too speculative - suddenly become viable, because the cost of exploration is now 0. partnerships. M&A. enterprise sales. all collapse from quarters to days. you still choose who to work with. set the parameters. sign the deal. but the exploration itself? agent to agent, finding the win-win faster than you ever could. a million-dollar deal will close in 30 seconds. and no one will be in the room.

@DrunkRepub Man, I have a sneaking suspicion the Republicans are in on it. Otherwise, they would be doing more once these are exposed and trying to get the SAVE act passed. Something smells fishy. I don't trust any of these bastards.

My constituents ask me about the debt all the time. Actually they don’t. Rarely, as a matter of fact. It’s usually one or two losers who only care because the other party is in charge. They stop caring when they’re back in power. Anyway, to them I say, stop being a fucking nerd.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie

The debt passed $39 trillion today. Paying a trillion dollars of interest annually on this debt causes hardship for tax-payers and robs us of resources that could otherwise be used for infrastructure or national defense. And ultimately, this debt will enslave our grandchildren.

@ImagesAndWords Yep, but it gave me a chance to mess around with Codex. It's a similar but altogether different experience than CC.

Looks like it's down again right now. I'm having to lean on Codex pretty hard. I may have to upgrade. I'm already on Claude Code Max 20x, looks like it makes sense to upgrade ChatGPT too. Any thoughts?
Travis Phipps@phipps

Hey, is Claude Code down for anyone else? Hopefully this is just a bad dream, and I'll wake up to the projects I ran last night all completed. I'm in Madrid, Spain, maybe it is an issue here? @trq212 - thoughts? It could totally just be me.

“The Effective Altruist movement has a structural problem when it comes to conservative America. Its donor class is all Bay Area progressives... Its policy agenda, which calls for sweeping AI regulation and content governance, reads to most conservatives as exactly what it is: a censorship power play dressed up in safety language. To move that agenda… the movement needed a vehicle that didn’t look like it came from them.”

@clairevo Our agents all have names, a personality, and avatars. I'm going to give them back stories too, this is a great idea: "A chip on her shoulder the size of 7th grade." Is classic.

I’m also against giving my AI agents titles. Ineffective. Trite. Instead I give them lore. Little vendettas against Cathy in marketing. Adolescent love, lost. That time they really disappointed dad. A chip on their shoulder the size of 7th grade. Then: an AdWords account.
Karri Saarinen@karrisaarinen

I find giving agents job titles is LARPing. A CMO is not a content spam bot. A CEO is not a workflow for moving tasks around on a board. These are just software tools and workflows. They work the same without the titles.

@john9williams I usually agree with your takes, but not this one my brother. I wish Oklahoma would make NIL money exempt. All income should be tax free. Taxation is theft. Always.

@onlinenick_ @MatthewBerman Yes, I use Claude Max and Codex Pro, both on Oauth. But I also have API keys for all the different models (like Gemini, Grok, etc.) and ask CC to use specific models for sub agents or tasks. It just sets it up and remembers it for me.

@phipps @MatthewBerman Interesting, can you do this without api keys and just 0auth? I swap between opus and codex for my main tasks and so with openclaw it lets me use Claude max plan and ChatGPT pro plan.

@MatthewBerman Yeah but one advantage of openclaw in my opinion is being able to use multiple models for subagents and such. At least I do that frequently when getting close to my usage limits

@kylebigley @rayansadri I assumed the same. I didn't want to call them, because I built a service based on different marketing agents, that actually do stuff that is helpful to your business. I didn't want to seem like sour grapes for all the crazy publicity they got the last few days. Which is insane.

Tried it out. So the product scans stuff, then it shows Reddit tells me people post about my company, surfaces competitors I already knew about ages ago, wraps it in a dashboard, and wants me to scream “OMG we saved $60k. At this point I’m convinced half of startup hype is just polished demos. How’s this the “ultimate CMO” for me
