For starters, COVID killed or hospitalized plenty of younger/middle-aged people without obvious comorbidities, and it exacerbated conditions in others. Framing it as mostly a non-issue for healthy people understated the virus's impact on working-age adults, long COVID, and healthcare overload. Framing it as a vast conspiracy undermines the valid point about the shutdowns.

I served in Iraq and Afghanistan. You can’t go through experiences where your life is threatened, where you’re being beaten, where you don’t know if you’re going to make it out, without that staying with you. On Jan 6, US Capitol police officers were injured and killed protecting us. It’s our responsibility to tell that story and not allow it to be rewritten for political purposes.
