Broad jumps and short max sprints for speed and power. Maxed out at 7ft4 on the broad jumps. Pretty good, but looking to get that closer to 8ft by the end of the year. Great session overall. We did 4x2 on the jumps and rest 70-90s after each set for 8 total jumps. Then we ran 5x50m sprints. I ran all of those in 6 seconds. 8A Playoffs Round 3 for us this Tuesday!! #SteadyWork✅

We are the 4A-2 Regional Champs after a long three days!! This is the first for my school since 2018! I’m so happy and proud of all my teammates! We faced some great competition that will prepare us for the next round! I hit .556 (5 for 9) with a .600 OBP!! I saw the ball well the entire round and executed when needed the most! Playoffs start this week! Getting my body ready for action! Power and sprint base work with strength and BP to finish. Got some mail from @MSU_Softball and @KUSoftball this week too! Thank you!! Format: 3 rounds. Broad Jumps 3x3 (avg between 7ft1–7ft3). Rest 30s, then sprint for 6–8s. That’s 1 set. Take full rest between 1:30–2 mins and repeat. 9 total jumps. 3 total sprints.
