“They (Apple) haven’t really invented anything great in a while,” Mark Zuckerberg said.
“Steve Jobs invented the iPhone, and now they’ve basically just been sitting on it for 20 years. Year after year, I’m not even sure they’re selling more iPhones anymore. Part of the reason is that each new generation doesn’t improve much, so people upgrade more slowly.”
Zuckerberg also criticized Apple for building products like AirPods while “severely restricting” how third-party devices can connect to the iPhone ecosystem. According to him, Apple is “squeezing” developers through the App Store’s 30% fee and what he called “arbitrary” rules, instead of focusing on real innovation. He predicted that Apple would eventually be overtaken by competitors due to a lack of creativity.

Elon Musk dropped big news on Tesla’s humanoid robot. Optimus 3 will be by far the most advanced robot in the world with nothing even close.
He said they haven’t sent any demos of robots that match it yet. Production starts this summer, slow at first, then ramps to high volume around next summer. Optimus 4 design will be complete next year too, with plans for a new improved robot every single year.
This is American innovation moving at full speed and leaving the competition in the dust.

Lyme disease now affects an estimated 476,000 Americans each year and remains one of the most common vector-borne diseases in the United States.
I recently wrote to the House Energy & Commerce Committee urging support for reauthorization of the Kay Hagan Tick Act to strengthen research, surveillance, early detection, treatment, and public awareness efforts related to tick-borne disease.
Thank you to Chairman @RepGuthrie, Ranking Member @FrankPallone, and the House Energy & Commerce Committee for advancing this important bipartisan legislation.

Can add 244 miles of range in 10 mins. • Formula 1-based 800-volt battery • Fake V8 engine noises & gear shift sounds (shown below) • Mercedes said it’s using 1,600 audio files to “sonically interpret” different driving situations. The car makes “exhaust burbles and pops" like as gas car. • Axial-flux motors (a first). Runs parallel to the motor’s axis of rotation. In a conventional electric motor, it runs perpendicular to the axis. The front axial flux motor reaches more than 15,000 rpm at top speed. • 2660 cylindrical cells stacked vertically, arrayed in 18 modules, nine to a side. Nickel-cobalt-manganese-aluminum chemistry. @StoukasTom I had one on me today in parry sound, irst time ever.. can't even feel them. It was on my back below my neck, found it because it was a tiny bit itchy. Must have been from the back yard... deer tick, carries lime. No puncture wound though, just digging in
