We are working on something fun - high performance native apps for AI chat, DB management & email client. Think local LLMs, native UI that comes with buttery-smooth (120FPS), cross-platform, privacy-first. Early days but would love to hear your thoughts 120.dev

I was happy with Copilot. But with all the new changes, I need to move on. What would be my next subscription?

Who also agree that this AMD Ryzen 9950X is a beast? 😁 Have been a long time Mac users and this is a present surprise, the cost/performance is unbeatable.

When understanding unfamiliar code, I don’t read files top-down. I follow the execution path. Entry point → function → next function. Much easier to understand.

For my projects, I reuse the same patterns where I can: - same structure - same naming - same layout -> Less thinking and more building.

I have released a new version for 120 AI Chat - now you can generate and play video right in the app (which I am really proud of 😁) I am also working on motion (check out the Send icon when the side bar open 😁) By the way, 120 AI Chat is now a Community Edition of 120.dev. The app is completely free to use if anyone wants to try!

@chrissyinspace 😁 yeah, a new launch would make more sense if I want people to try out the app. btw, TinyLaunch is still my favorite place to list my app 😁

@phungleson An OG 😎 Depends, if you want to do another proper launch go for it! Just changing the existing one is fine too but probably not too many people would check it out.

Hey @chrissyinspace, I have been adding tons of features into my app 120 AI Chat and now I want to release it as a Community Edition which is free to use forever (my launch was 6 months ago 😁). Just asking for your opinion: should I launch a new one or should I update my old post?

Hey guys, 120 AI Chat now is a Community Edition, which will be free forever. Since the early days of agentic coding, I’ve been thinking a lot about how it will help my own work and how it will change software development more broadly. I believe AI-assisted development will give users more choices, raise the bar for software quality, and push developers to make products that are more polished, more useful, and more thoughtful. That is a very bright future for users, and I think we’re only at the beginning of it. That’s the part I’m most excited about, and I want 120 AI Chat to be part of that future. Let’s keep pushing the boundary to see how far we can go with more advanced technologies. You can download the app here: : 120.dev/120-ai-chat

When using AI, the biggest improvement in my workflow wasn’t better models. It was planning first. Let the AI think and put everything in a plan.md file. Review. Then execute. Much better results.
