Fun story: A couple months ago someone reached out to me who had a connection with a youth swimming nonprofit in Cincinnati, Ohio — the Lane 8 Fund. No relation to Lane 8 the artist, but they happened to be the longtime owner of the [@]Lane8 Instagram handle. They were curious if there might be interest on the Lane 8 artist side in transitioning the handle to him, with the only ask being a small donation to the nonprofit. And asked if I could help at all make a connection with the This Never Happened team. It felt like a win-win, so that’s what I did. Fast forward a couple months…and today it actually happened. The handle made its way to Lane 8, the donation was made to the nonprofit, and to make it even better, members of the TNH team joined in to fully match it with an additional donation. So, that’s now some TFO lore. 🦉
