I am comfortable with Arsenal’s position in the UCL. Sometimes you are better off launching out from the shadows. Let PSG and Bayern Munich enjoy the limelight.

🚨🎙️ Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on Arsenal: 🗣️ “If I’m being honest, I would actually love to face Arsenal in the Champions League final. They’re a very predictable team, we’ve played against teams like them before and we know exactly how to beat them. At this level, you need something different, something unpredictable… and Arsenal don’t really have that. They’re good, yes, but not scary. I’ve also seen all the links about me joining Arsenal, but let’s be serious, they can sign me on FIFA, not in real life. I’m not interested. I respect the club, but ambitions matter. I want to compete at the very highest level and win trophies consistently.”

The very unique thing about President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT is that he fought from the deep end of opposition to become President of Nigeria and today, he has totally flipped the script on the PDP which could not outfox him as the only surviving opposition Governor in the South-West in 2007. Therefore, every step the opposition takes today and every strategy they adopt is from the playbook of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He knows and understands every single step against him before they even conceive it. You cannot beat the master at his own game; you cannot outfox the man who taught almost all of us how to play opposition politics; he is 100 steps ahead of all of them.

Peter Obi beat the Fox in Lagos and Abuja under the APC. All this talk is just fear induced hot air. Somebody that cannot even walk with another person holding him, someone that cannot make a complete sentence without sounding like a toddler learning how to talk. You people will see wonders in 2027.

Self-Help Spreads: Bekwarra Community Begins Road Construction After Govt Delay Inspired by efforts in Bumaji, residents of Bekwarra have taken matters into their own hands as the Akpakpa Community in Beten Ward begins manual road construction. The move follows repeated appeals to authorities to grade the road, which reportedly yielded no results. The community is now calling on well-meaning individuals to support with road grading, healthcare facilities, borehole projects, and electrification. 💡

I respect the loyalty, but there’s a difference between being a ‘fake fan’ and being a realist. Yes, City drop points, but they usually do that in November, not in April. When the finish line is in sight, they turn into a machine. Giving up the lead today means you’ve lost the 'buffer.' Now you don't just need to beat City at the Etihad (which is the hardest task in football), you also need them to fail somewhere else while Arsenal stays perfect. It’s not about not 'backing' the players; it’s about recognizing that when you give City an inch, they usually take the whole mile.

1. Man City have dropped points in 2 of their last 5 games. Arsenal have dropped points in 1 of their last 5. Matter of fact, City have dropped points in their last 2. This shows that City are just as capable of faltering. 2. Even if Man City win tomorrow, and I have conceded it, we play them at the Etihad. I don’t get why any fan who is desperate to give up on the season won’t at least back the team at least till after that game. We ask the players to do what we can even do. It’s shocking to me. These players are human, today they played a group of players who have been fresh for 22 days, and here we have fans who can’t even support the team until they are mathematically out of it. Congratulations to Man City for today. But the title remains in Arsenal’s hands. Costs me nothing to believe in them.
Ifreke Inyang@Ifreke

Arsenal fans that are confidently tweeting that we will win the league, what is this based on? Confidence that the performances/tactics will improve? Man City will not win all their games? Other teams will do the job for you?

Boki Community Builds Its Own Road and Bridge in Remarkable Self-Help Effort Residents of Bumaji in Boki, Cross River State, have taken development into their own hands by constructing a road and bridge for the community. In a rare show of unity and determination, the people chose action over waiting, delivering infrastructure that now benefits all residents. The effort stands as a powerful example of self-reliance and grassroots development, highlighting what communities can achieve through collective will. 💪🏾

Otu Suspends LGA Recruitment, Sets Up Panel Over Alleged Job Racketeering Governor Bassey Otu has suspended the ongoing local government recruitment in Cross River State following allegations of corruption and employment racketeering. The governor also accepted the resignation of the Local Government Service Commission chairman, Darlington Eyo, and constituted a panel of enquiry to investigate the process. A special review committee has been set up to identify those responsible, as the government moves to restore transparency and credibility to the recruitment system. 🚨
