One friendly addition: you note the multi-year agreements soften but don't remove the cycle. True but look at where they concentrate. The floors, take-or-pay terms, and co-development pacts all sit at the chokepoint layers: memory, foundry, packaging, platforms. Everything downstream... apps, model companies, speculative DC operators has no floor. So the contracts don't prevent the next bust; they determine who absorbs it. The supply chain spent 2026 converting market risk into counterparty risk and handing it downstream.
And your third break-condition (architectures needing less memory) deserves more weight than the other two... take-or-pay protects against soft demand, not against the contracted product becoming the wrong product.
Both sides are trying to secure 2030. Only one side gets paid if it disappoints.

Will the industry overbuild eventually? Probably. But right now, companies are far more terrified of lacking capacity in 2030 than overbuilding for 2027.

@LauraLoomer @ZelenskyyUa America has given Ukraine about 60 billion. The rest was given to American businesses that were supposed to help Ukraine indirectly. Obviously groups like biden pharma took most of the money they got on "operational costs" rather than actual aid to the Ukraine.

It is incredible how far the Democratic Party has moved politically. Just listen to @BarackObama on immigration 20 years ago. @HillaryClinton spoke similarly back then.
The question of course is why. The answer I believe is not a change in fundamental views, but rather a tactical one. At some point, the Democratic Party believed it had a higher likelihood of staying in power if our country had open borders.
When did this take place? What was the catalyst for this reversal of views?

This might be the most amazing one yet. More from Senator Obama on immigration. Obama not only said that illegals must not be allowed to work here, he went one step further and said that employers should be forced to prove that they offered the job to American citizens before they are allowed to hire guest workers. Democrats today would call this racist and xenophobic.

He recounted being raped with bottles and sticks, and having a knife pressed against his genitals. He still finds it difficult to walk. 'They wanted to psychologically break me,' said Boychuk, now 33.
Other Ukrainian former detainees described similar experiences of sexualized torture while in Russian prisoner-of-war camps. Other former POWs and civilian detainees who spoke to the Journal said they were forced to stand, crouch or parade naked. Some had their genitals electrocuted. Some were raped—either with objects such as bottles or sticks, or by Russian guards.

Russia Today, which is Russian state media operated out of the Kremlin is now mocking President Trump and suggesting he is sleeping during events. Russia says President Trump is too old to be President and that we need younger Presidents.
I can’t wait for President Trump to sign the new Russia sanctions bill. These Russians need to be put in their place.
It’s actually insane that some members of Congress are talking about sending a delegation to Russia as they are attacking our President and supplying Iran with weapons to murder US soldiers.

Russia wants to receive another 30,000 troops from North Korea. Since June, preparations have been underway in Russia’s Voronezh region to receive them. North Korea is also preparing to transfer additional launchers for ballistic missiles to Russia. This is a threat not only to Ukraine. Russia is helping North Korea learn how to wage war, improve its weapons, and gain real combat experience in using them.
