It would have been awesome to see what this Texas Tech team could have done with JT Toppin healthy.
Still showed a lot of fight down the stretch of Big 12 play and in the opening round. Grant McCasland is one of the best coaching minds in the sport.
TTU is not going anywhere.
@goose4au@TheoFernandez__ These are Auburn fans at an Alabama game in TAMPA. That’s unusual. Maybe they wanted to see what a good basketball team looks like.
@hisabou1965 Thank you for including Brian Wilson at the top. By the way, Stevie Wonder needs to be on that list. I also like the Jobim and Van Dyke Parks mentions.
@WarDamnDeuce That’s the chance you take when one team makes the NCAA tournament and the other one makes the NIT. Also known as the Not Interested Tournament.
Pretty wild that Florida’s basketball season ended before Auburn. And we absolutely destroyed them on their home court. Guess we’re just the better program.
Every time I put on the White Album I tell myself I’m probably gonna skip Revolution 9 when I get to it and then once it comes on I’m always like ahh what the hell, sing your song old friend
@ByPatForde@grok who is the best player for Iowa State that’s referenced in the above post? And is that player expected to be back for the sweet sixteen, Elite 8 and/or Final Four?
Kentucky getting absolutely drilled by a team missing its best player is not a great look, and serves as a fitting epitaph for a team that was poorly constructed.
@KentuckyNet More complaining from Kentucky fans. Kentucky had 18 fouls called on them, Iowa State had 16. Pretty close I’d say.
Iowa State did shoot 7 more FTs, but that’s not egregious. Bottom line: FTs don’t account for a 19 point beatdown.
Iowa State has never lost a game with Kipp Kissinger officiating
Truly unclear why the NCAA consistently assigns the Iowa-raised kid to officiate his hometown team
@BeachBoysFan59 I agree with the first part, but the second part is incorrect. There are a few albums that are close. Brian Wilson himself would argue for Rubber Soul.
@pensign I really don’t think you know what you want. Last night you were pressing for answers to why Bama won’t play UAB. Now you claim you don’t care(btw, no one believes that).
Again, I really don’t give a shit if we ever play Alabama in any sport. Their fans are some of the biggest pieces of shits in the country. It is funny pointing out hypocrisy. And it’s hilarious watching them come unhinged at the thought of playing UAB and anything.
@picklesf87@KevinScarbinsky@AlabamaMBB@UAB_MBB 2018 however it’s a branding issue. UAT is scared to lose instate. AU chooses to be neighborly and actually keep money instate and promote other schools.
Nate Oats said, when it comes to scheduling, @AlabamaMBB only turns down mid-majors "that aren't good enough." Really? @UAB_MBB says hi.
Scarbo Knows. One Minute Madness. Check it out.

As I posted earlier, Alabama’s SOS was #2 in the nation(out of 365 teams) according to KenPom. We played 14 Quad 1 games. Coach Oats doesn’t have to apologize for his schedule. And as another poster pointed out, Oats scheduled ND because Grant Nelson is from there. Bama actually traveled to Grand Forks, ND to play in 2024. Kudos to Coach Oats for doing that for a player.
As for USTA, you’re right. We shouldn’t ever play them.
