@thearsfamily97 Fernandes for sure. The price, his age and the quality you’re getting are all perfect for what we need right now. Ceiling is incredibly high too, we could have our own Neves.
English

One thing this game has shown me is that we desperately need a Rice-level dueller or at least high space coverage even more than we need a progressive 6. MLS has actually done a great job being the lone pivot 6. The real fear I had was when Rice moved to RB and West Ham attacked, our middle didn't have the large space coverage to defend. To me, the best OOP midfielder after Rice is Onana. Been a huge fan of him for a while, and he's massively improved his on-ball ability.
Anderson is easily the perfect profile but he's too costly.
I'd also love Mateus Fernandes (talked about him before, big fan). He doesn't cover as much space as Rice or Onana, but he covers it very well OOP, and he has great anticipation skills to read the game.
Tonali covers space well too but is a poorer dueller than M.Fernandes while being much costlier, so no.
Camara is too bad aerially for me to consider him next to MLS. I love his engine, though.
Chema is another option I really like. Covers space very well, but he's still unpolished.
And of course, Bouaddi and Agoumé. Agoumé is in Hell rn at Sevilla, which has stunted his development. Bouaddi is a great option but his passing leaves A LOT to the desired.
What do you guys, think? Who'd you want as the Rice rotation option? Remember, their ability to cover large spaces should be taken into account.

I don’t give a shit if he doesn’t work hard defensively
If a player like Rafael Leao is available for 50m EUROS, you go in for him
Reshad Rahman@ReshadRahman
🚨💣 Exact offer that AC Milan will consider for Leao this summer: €45m-€50m fixed + bonuses. @MatteMoretto #Transfers 🇵🇹💰

@thearsfamily97 I have no problem with him
But sell Martinelli and Trossard
Bring in Gordon and Ndiaye
Gordon might be a very good upgrade for Martinelli
Ndiaye for trossard
Very good against low block with his quick feet.....
And they can both play from either wings comfortably...
English

@Al___amin7 @HarveyDiamonds Need Iliman Ndiaye as well as a winger like Barcola
English

@HarveyDiamonds I understand that but we are still gonna need a lowblock killer in the league so i don't know how we are gonna get those two profiles at the same tbh
English

I’ve rewatched a lot of the highest echelon of football games from the past year and what I can tell you is two things: the importance of unpredictability and the importance of superstar attackers.
Arsenal lack both. Bradley Barcola is a must this summer - large space monster which replaces Martinelli well + increased threat for #AFC.

@AMofope63488 @GoonerballFC @scrapytweets Our attack is shit, leading in those things doesn’t mean much. Especially when you play by far the most minutes
English

@GoonerballFC @scrapytweets Yes
Our player with the most chances created from open play
Most successful dribbler in the team
And most assist across all comp
But am supposed to believe you that he is a bad decision maker when there is your Avi with most possession lost for a Premier league striker
English

Saka’s decision making is now up there with Martinelli’s 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Triple M@Tripple____M
This is how Zubimendi used to play before satan got to him. I need more of this

@MEC_200 @SpuddyIRL @mixter93 @spencermorgan93 Madueke’s came on and literally got us back into the game. The difference between then in all areas bar final action/end product is literally night and day. Noni and Nwaneri are the guys we need to put our time into I promise you
English

@SpuddyIRL @pierre_amn @mixter93 @spencermorgan93 Well madueke just proved me wrong taking on the 2v1. Hopefully we can kick on from this
English

@leaguescroll @chyycarter Honestly when will these guys face the music. He’s not that guy and never has been😭
English

@chyycarter Now now, just wait a minute. You're blaming Arteta for that poor performance from Saka? Because you love Saka Soo much. Love is blind bro
English

@SpuddyIRL @mixter93 @spencermorgan93 Lmao leave them, they just can’t stomach that Saka ain’t that guy. He’s a good player, thats it. He’s hit his ceiling.
English

@ixnafc @mosescarter62 @EduardoHagn Not necessarily better rn but he has the higher ceiling for sure
English

#AFC | Tonali is the Ødegaard replacement.
However, he’s genuinely really poor at just marking space- he is a bit too duel focused. Use him as the press trigger because his recovery tackles are very impressive if he’s bypassed.
On the ball quite zippy and one of the best crossers on both the LHS and RHS. Under £65M though please.

English

@lukasbingobango @fergus_costello @tinscognito__ The club and directors are who buy players. Arteta will have a large influence, but ultimately transfer decisions are not solely down to him.
English

@fergus_costello @tinscognito__ idk why, he bought the vast majority of them.
