I disagree. Let's try it first before slamming it. Primals in D3 were exciting (and outraging when you got a useless one)
Let's see how this turns out before declaring D4 bad over some patch notes.

On the Season 14 PTR, ANY Unique can become Mythic Quality 👀🔥
This is a MASSIVE change for gearing in #Diablo4.
What Mythic Quality means for your gear:
• Higher rolls on all affixes
• 30% increased Unique power
• Potentially guaranteed max-roll powers
You’ll be able to obtain Mythic Quality Uniques in multiple ways:
• Random drops throughout Sanctuary
• Increased drop chances from bosses
• Crafting through the Horadric Cube
The crafting method may be seasonal-only, but we’re still waiting for confirmation on that.
To upgrade items, you’ll need to defeat a NEW boss to earn Pandemonium Fragments—which can also come from Seasonal Ranks.
This could completely change how we farm and optimize gear going forward.

So your 1 out of 1000 unique with perfect rolls can transform into a complete different mythic item of the same category via transformation

@loatheburger No the old mythics are not uniques now, they are called iconic mythics and have random affixes now and completely ruined aspects.

Mythics are now Uniques with max rolled affixes - and a 30% boost to their aspect. It’s similar to the Chaos Armor boosts from S10. This is a permanent feature, not seasonal
You can upgrade uniques to mythics in the cube and can equip 1 crafted mythic at a time, but you can equip multiple if they drop (very rare)
Oh - existing Mythics (Ring of Starless Skies, etc) are now Uniques instead

We also got tons of balanced changes for all classes. Counting 8 different Nerfs affecting Builds like Whirlwind Barb but also loads of buffs for other setups!

SEASONAL
- Realmwalker 2.0
- bunch of new events in dungeons, NMDs
- new lair boss
- "Deathtoll chamber" mini dungeon
- make any unique into mythic (= D3 primal), max. 1 equipped (can still find regular primal-uniques)
OTHER CHANGES
- party war plans, faster war plans XP, new nodes
- no account-wide/catch-up yet
- SSF: no trade/group, no migration, own leaderboard
- tower rewards: weekly tier 100+ completion, titles & halos for rank placement for rest of the season, emblem forever after season ends

@cliptis86 Thats a stupid way of describing damagebuckets by blizzard then. When i have 50% X all damage multiplier on an item i expect ALL damage buckets to get Multiplied by said factor- period. Everything else is stupid gamedesign, like many other things in this game.

When building damage, a lot of players look at the stat sheet to figure out how hard they should be hitting 👀
But with how Diablo 4 damage scaling actually works—between so many different multiplier buckets—the additive damage section matters WAY less than most people think.
Right now my character has:
🔥 559,925 additive all damage
So here’s the question…
How hard do you think my top-end hit actually is? 👀

As someone who played @Diablo 4 on release trough end game and is now back for the expansion my number 1 advice to players
DO NOT FOLLOW BUILD GUIDES it will make the game boring for you and it's way more satisfying doing it with your own build
