This is a false positive that unfairly harms the project. #Xenians, please go to app.uniswap.org and report to Blockaid that the warning is incorrect. #XEN is not malicious. It’s a fully decentralized, immutable ERC-20 with no admin keys and no pre-mine, built on crypto’s core principles of permissionless participation and trustless execution (a much stronger foundation than most tokens currently traded on Uniswap). If @BlockAid_ can’t properly flag something as basic as 400 lines of immutable #FPOC code, it raises serious concerns about a system trusted by @Coinbase, @MetaMask, @StellarOrg, @Uniswap and others to detect fraud, scams, and exploits in real time.

Moonwell's history of exploits: 10.10.2025: Chainlink’s oracle feeds priced AERO, VIRTUAL, and MORPHO lower compared to the DEX pool prices on Base. An attacker repeatedly flashloaned USDC/cbBTC, borrowed underpriced assets from Moonwell at 85-88% LTV, sold them on a DEX for more than the value of their flash loan, repaid the flash loan, and profited from the difference. While 10.10 was an unprecedented event, you clearly shouldn’t be able to borrow such volatile tokens at 85-88% LTV. Ended up with >$12M in liquidations, $1.7M in bad debt. Incident Summary: forum.moonwell.fi/t/anthias-labs… 04.11.2025: The wrsETH market priced collateral as (wrsETH/ETH) * (ETH/USD) using Chainlink feeds. The wrsETH/ETH oracle was based on market prices, not the exchange rate. Balancer, back then a source of most of the liquidity for rsETH got exploited a day earlier, and was likely the cause of the feed outputting an absurd value: 1 wrsETH = 1,649,934.60732 ETH. Same attacker as 10.10.2025, although we haven’t seen any evidence of them actually manipulating the oracle - only taking advantage of the mispricing. They’re clearly constantly scanning Moonwell for extractable value. $3.7M of bad debt. In a couple of weeks, you'll be able to trade stocks and crypto directly from your X timeline. Not through a link or an app redirect - directly inside X posts. Here’s why this could become the mother of all onboarding events: Before this, social media and trading existed in separate universes. You'd see someone post about $ETH, get curious, open Coinbase, search for it, maybe check a chart, then decide if you wanted to buy. (Friction everywhere) After this, the entire funnel collapses into a single action. See a cashtag (e.g. $BTC) → view the live price and chart embedded in the post → trade → done. And the key shift isn't just convenience, it's that X is positioning itself as the distribution layer for financial markets. Coinbase has 105M worldwide users, 10.8M of which actively trade each month. X has 600M monthly active users. Even if 5% of X's active users try trading through Smart Cashtags, that's 30M people. Nearly 3x Coinbase's entire active trading base. This means: Crypto discovery becomes passive. You don't seek it out anymore, it finds you in your timeline. The barriers/friction in the "interested in crypto" and "owns crypto" pipeline effectively disappear. Every financial influencer on X just became a potential distribution channel for markets. Nikita Bier said something important in his announcement: He wants crypto to grow on X, but not through spam, raids, and harassment. That's a direct shot at how crypto communities have operated on the platform for years. X wants to capture the upside of crypto enthusiasm while filtering out the behavior that makes the platform worse. Smart Cashtags give them that leverage. This also fits X's broader payments infrastructure play - they've been laying groundwork for this for over a year. The vision was always to turn X into a super app: messaging, news, payments - and now, trading. And the timeline here is SHORT. "A couple of weeks" means this is essentially done. They're not talking about a 'concept,' but an immanent launch! When 600M people can trade from their feed, the entire distribution model for both crypto and equities shifts. Brokerages, exchanges, and trading apps should be paying very close attention. X just inserted itself between social discovery and financial action. That's the most valuable real estate in the attention economy.
