Think about all the orgs using Claude right now that have no idea how bad it has become over the past 4 weeks ago. No statement from Claude - but a total revert to where the model was a year ago - which in comparison to when 4.6 got released is effectively last years AI model. The amount of bugs, security issues, and complete destruction of production applications is going to be felt for quite a long time due to this. Claude: nothing to see here.

Hello @trq212 - in CC if a bash command contains backslash-escaped whitespace it triggers a permission request. I think it should not do it when the whitespace is within a file / folder path. E.g. "cd /My\ Project/" - very annoying when Claude is reading a project

@trq212 I’ve disabled it. I don’t really like the lack of control and observability (even if the file can be checked), nor the fact that we don’t control how and when memory is accessed and written to. This is the part of Claude code that I prefer to control, on top of orchestration.

now that it's been 2 weeks, what have you liked most about auto-memory? what's not working? if you have specific stories of when it went well or poorly, we would love to hear!

known issue on older versions. first try upgrading (curl -fsSL claude.ai/install.sh | bash). the sandbox config flow was reworked in recent updates if still broken after upgrading, check settings.json or .claude/settings.json for sandbox overrides. also try /permissions to see what's currently allowed/denied. macOS sandbox specifically has had some quirks that got patched in newer releases

Claude code sandbox stopped working for me. When I type /sandbox I see the message "Sandbox disabled, enter to configure", but when I press enter there's no way to configure anything. It just shows that dependencies are installed. I'm on v2.1.71 - anyone else having this issue?

@claudeai If continuous compaction counts towards usage please give us the ability to disable it. This is a waste of tokens most of the time.

Claude now compacts context exponentially faster. Compacting takes only seconds so you don’t get interrupted.

. @sidbid hello, why is the Claude code planning saving its plan & implementation in the users folder instead of the project? This doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense, all the more the agent forgets about its plan, location & progress after compacting when reaching context
