This is how some hotels prepare eggs in America - The eggs come in large plastic bags - The plastic bags are inserted into the microwave and heated - Once heated the eggs are cut from the plastic and put onto a tray - Then a took is used to separate the solid piece of eggs into scrambled eggs Cooking this way introduces microplastics and nanoplastics into the eggs Heating plastic bags containing food in a microwave significantly increases the release of tiny plastic particles into the contents Studies show that microwaving plastic containers or pouches, even those labeled “microwave-safe,” releases millions of microplastics and billions of nanoplastics per square centimeter in just a few minutes
