Your build is killing all sorts of stuff so you could get more drops, you can level up, so you can like, and the screen is littered with stuff you don't care about. I’m pretty sure he didn’t mean Diablo 2’s endgame in that quote, but your general experience and that is decidedly not what ARPGs have devolved into.

@pimienticos Si vas a discutir nomenclaturas al menos enlaza a algo que mencione que lo que queda es un "equipo de mantenimiento". Hasta que no repitan una temporada idéntica al 100% que no requiera un parche específico tienen desarrollo que hacer, tal vez en 1 año. Pero no es lo importante.

No me quiero imaginar si Blizzard deja un juego liveservice sin contenido durante lo que pinta 1 año porque han pasado el equipo a otro juego. Los jugadores de POE1 estarán contentos.

@fr0d0b0ls0n El equipo de desarolllo de Diablo 3 migro a D4 (y D2 resurrected cuando fue necesario). Lo que queda ahora es un equipo de mantenimiento, no de desarollo. diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Team_3

@pimienticos Sí, tiene un equipo de desarrollo muy pequeño que sigue sacando temporadas que juega y disfruta la gente con la carencia habitual. Path of Exile los va a dejar jugando la misma durante un tiempo indefinido.

I just listened to Ben's review of Path of Exile 2. Lots of good takes in that video and a couple things I disagreed with. However, the absolute BEST opinion he stated came from the end of the video: Given everything SAID about PoE2 since the marketing campaign kicked off in 2023, the current state of the game past the campaign cannot be what GGG envisioned and changes need to happen ASAP or else people will get used to the "click 1 button, blast a screen" playstyle that occurs in PoE1. I truly hope the endgame changes massively and they establish a feel more in-line with the campaign for the majority of the game, if not the entire game. The campaign feels AMAZING. I am enjoying the endgame right now, but it could be so, so much better if combat and progression were more akin to the campaign. Great review by Ben, will link it below, highly recommend giving it a listen.

Let's talk about PoE2's latest patch. It's really good. I enjoy the new endgame so much more. The new tower layouts are fun, goals on the atlas are good, my merc is less buggy. Rune replacements, lots of QOL. It doesn't solve long-term content problems, but it's 2 steps forward and 0 steps back. I'd call it a win.
